Unless you are a baseball fanatic, a devoted Yankee fan, or someone who gushes over wall to wall celeb gossip, this book can be a long read. The principal is shown to be an uncaring tyrant toward the author and people around him. The author is so full of his unexpected role as DiMaggio's Boswell that he let's himself be humiliated time and again with just the slightest resistance. There's plenty of baseball lore, and juicy gossip about Marilyn Monroe, Sinatra, the Kennedys and a raft of politicos. But it gets tiring after a while.

No--- dont do it.

Not about dimaggio but rather about the author. Simply not worth the time nor agony to listen.

This book resonated with me because as a new real estate investor it was really interesting to learn how Donald Trump got his start. This book really gives you insight into the way mr. I read this book cover-to-cover and couldnât put it down. There was so much that absolutely resonated with me since I too am a small business owner.

This book is brutally honest. I know it couldnât have been easy writing about mistakes but he did this so that we could learn from his experiences. Itâs one thing to write about the good things in life. Itâs another thing entirely to write about mistakes you may have made or where the systems that were meant to protect us small business owners have let us down.

I love the way the author incorporates parenting advice, not only in how his mother parented him but how he now parents his own children. He also incorporates life lessons, all of which has a lot to do with being a small business owner.

More than anything, the book shows that no matter what happens to you, donât give up, because thereâs always a way to reinvent yourself.

Much wisdom and inspiration here in this book!

Excellent real world story that details how the world of finance turned upside down in 2008 and how hard working small business owners got caught up in the big banks and government quagmire. This book is inspiring as where some people may have just given up Mr. Isenhour makes a Rocky Balboa like come back. So much wisdom can be learned by reading and learning from people like this. I highly recommend it!

Perfect! Excellent, well-written book that will make anyone -- on either side of the partisan divide -- take a closer look and Think. The authors. and about twenty reporters whose reporting they openly utilize. have painted a portrait that is filled with new information and facts that are not generally known. Most of all, they bring Insight into the arena. It's easy to simply take a side that supports your already-formed opinion regardless of facts. But living in an echo chamber is hardly the way to figure out the truth.

I found a lot of helpful knowledge from this book.
