Editorial Reviews:
Those years as a SG (single girl) can be the most exhilarating, freeing, and rewarding time in a woman's life, and The Single Girl's Survival Guide: Secrets for Today's Savvy, Sexy, and Independent Woman helps listeners fine-tune their single lifestyle for maximum benefit. Originally written by Imogen Lloyd Webber, political commentator, co-author of The Twitter Diaries and daughter of famed composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, this guide is sassily narrated by Rachel McGrath, who injects bold and brassy attitude into Webber's advice on achieving career success, taking advantage of freedom, and generally being fabulous. Hilarious, cheeky, and surprisingly practical, this audiobook is a refreshing and motivating listen for any bachelorette on the make.

Not what I expected
It's pretty much an entire book of complaints about being single. There's an entire section about how to write a resume and stuff, why that's included I have no idea. Not what I expected...
a survival guide for the young single urban female
Immogen Lloyd Webber's The Single Girl's Survival Guide is a social tip guide for the young single woman.
This book offers an interesting glimpse of the world of the young single urban female. This book explains a bit about my urban girl friends. Her experience with family is different than my own so I couldn't really relate to it. As for the rest of the book, it was pretty good. Webber is British but she moved to the States, so it wouldn't be suprising if she used her moving exprience in acclimating to a new environment in the States in writting this book.
If you're a social butterfly, this book might be remedial. If you're a guy, totally skip this book. However, if you believe you're socially lacking or lacking confidence in going on your own in an urban environment, this book might be for you.
Loved this book!!
I absolutely loved this book. There was so much truth to Imogen's writing and her sense of humor had me laughing the whole way through. It's nice to know that there are others like us out there.
REALLY NEAT TO RELATE TO, FOUND IT HELPFUL
Being the type of girl who doesnt put herself 1st enough in her own life to not get 3 "to the point where your bedridden for almost an entire week + call in 3 days in a row risking your own damn job" major heartaches right in a row, i found what was in these pages helpful. Most of all, how to move on, which is distance/space/time/no replying to his "i let you go cuz im dumb" ass. We are not always what another person wants or needs, doesnt make us lesser than the other girl he is with now and for sure shouldnt make us think less of ourself. We are unique. There are always the possibility to be in love and have a connection with more than one person these days, and thats what makes it so hard. Modern love will never be as it used to be, where you meet in a ballroom and are happy till you both die. that isnt entirely fantasy, it really used to be true.
