For ABC episode 2 we discuss... 

- Auston Matthews scored 51 goals in his last 50 games. The first player to do it since Mario Lemieux. Some people are comparing AM's fantastic achievement to that of the 50 goals in the first 50 games of an NHL regular season. Only 5 players (Maurice Richard, Wayne Gretzky, Mike Bossy, Brett Hull and Mario Lemieux) have ever achieved this feat within the "rules" of 50 goals in 50 games or less. What is the difference? Should it even matter whether it is 50 in the first 50 or 50 in their last 50? Is a streak a streak regardless of what point in the season they're at?  

- A young Habs fan and his father were kicked out of Saturday's tilt between the Habs VS Leafs (in Toronto) after Nick Suzuki gave his hockey stick to the young fan. Apparently, they were kicked out of the arena because the kid cannot have a hockey stick because it is considered a weapon. Was this overblown? Should the kid and his father who were sitting front row have been allowed to stay? Poor judgement call by the security guard(s)?

GET Puck'D! Podcast is introducing a new episode series called "Anything But Canadiens" (ABC). This series is more of an open forum with shorter episodes, where we will primarily talk about Hockey, other NHL teams, sports, etc.

- Trade deadline recap. For his first trade deadline as the General Manager of the Montreal Canadiens, how did Kent Hughes do?    

- Jordan Harris signs a 2 year ELC with the habs. Should he play every every game from now until the end of the season?   

- Even if CC does not finish first in rookie scoring race, if he maintains this pace, should he be considered for the Calder (Rookie of the year)?  

- Have we seen the last of Jonathan Drouin as a member of the Montreal Canadiens?   

- Kent Hughes's son is eligible for the 2022 NHL draft. The Habs have Calgary's 2022 1st round pick. Provided the Canadiens do not trade the pick, and that Calgary goes deep into the playoffs, they would be drafting at bottom of the 1st round. Some mock drafts have Hughes in the 1st round and some at the start of the 2nd round. If he is available when it's their turn to pick, should they draft Jack Hughes?

We discuss and provide our opinions on Ben Chiarot being traded to the Florida Panthers and the return that the Montreal Canadiens got  

- On the Jeff Marek show, Elliott Friedman stated that the Habs were kicking tires on New Jersey's Pavel Zacha.  Pavel Zacha is a 24 years old, 6'3, center, a 6th overall pick in 2015. In addition, they have also spoken with Minnesota about Jack McBain. Jack McBain is a 6'4 center from Boston college.

- Josh Manson was traded to the Colorado Avalanche for a 2023 2nd round pick and blue-line prospect Drew Helleson. When this trade was made, people started to compare Chiarot and Manson and automatically suggested that the market was made and that it may have lowered Chiarot's value. What do Dave and Matt think?

- Which team does Dave, Vito & Matt think that Chiarot will go to? What do they expect that the Habs get for him from the specific team they mention

- Do Dave and Matt think that a big splash or a surprise trade to happen with the habs (something/someone that we have not heard about) by the Trade Deadline? What about with other teams in the NHL?

- Are the Calgary Flames Canada's best chance to win a cup this year?

- Should the Habs re-sign Rem Pitlick at the end of the year? If so, for how long and for how much much?

- Dave Trentadue is back after a short time away. The Canadiens have gone on a win streak. Vito asks Dave and Matt if they are concerned about this win streak and the impact it may have on their draft position for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft

- Jeff Petry seems to be happy now and has stated that Martin St-Louis has brought life back in the room and that St-Louis is a coach that he would play for for many years (paraphrasing). With Petry saying this, should the Habs keep him or trade him?

- "The Rumor Mill". We gathered a few tweets from various twitter accounts that quoted various insiders (some accounts whom also claim to have sources) about players who may be on the trade block and which teams may be interested in these players. Vito displays and reads out the tweets asking what Dave and Matt think about each one.
