The 2023-24 NHL season has started and the Montreal Canadiens play their first game of the season against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Currently, the Habs have 3 goalies on their 23 man roster. Kent Hughes stated that if Primeau were to be placed on waivers, he is certain he would get claimed. Jake Allen is set to face the Toronto Maple Leafs and some find it very interesting that the Habs are going with Allen to tend the twine for the first game of the season. Is Allen being showcased? Are there any contending teams that can take on his contract? Is there any interest? Josh Anderson is expected to flank Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield on the 1st line.
