Many of us are frustrated with the way the world is going. The woman in this podcast just wanted her concerns to be heard. I get it and had a great conversation with someone our president probably is not going to rub elbows with. But still, she needs to be heard.
A group in Broadwater County Montana says it's time to put a pause on development, at least until the county can clear up some problems.
We'll discuss those problems and for those who live in Oregon or other places, this story is still for you.
Even I had no idea when I said yes to this podcast how deep, how moving and how inspiring the story would be. Two women united by a DNA test, two women who truly needed each other. As this story unfolds you may find a bit of your own story in the details.
Most of us understand you have to lose things to gain. It's the same in life. Giving up makes room for something better. The woman you are about to meet was hooked on drugs. She had to make a choice...drugs or her kids. She made the wrong one many times but finally is on the road to recovery. This interview will inspire you. If you have someone in your life who is struggling with addiction
share this please.
A big slap in the face to Oregon lawmakers and a former governor as OSU says it doesn't pencil out to manage one of the states more valuable research forests. Why such a big deal? You'll find out in this interview.
Johnny Long spent time in prison. He was addicted to drug for years. He's made a lot of mistakes but his heart is made of gold and finally he has found his story. He talks about learning to edit that story, change the punctuation and answer many of the questions, leaving periods in places he'd never seen boundaries before. This interview will inspire you and make you look at your own life much differently.
Why Does Montana Make People Cry?
Sponsored by Montana Oral Surgeons & Implant Center
I’m not sure why it is that this one simple question I ask of so many, brings tears to their eyes.
A few months ago, I interviewed a doctor at Montana Oral Surgeons & Implant Center and when I asked “Why Montana?” his eyes watered up, his demeanor changed, he was truly touched.
Recently I went back to interview Dr Bernadette Wilson, and she did the same thing.
Yeh, the same question.
Kathy and I have lived here two years and I get it.
People come here because they want to.
It’s not easy living in extremes but it sure creates and openness and an honesty money can’t buy.
Answers always include the big sky, the huge mountains, the water, lakes, river and hunting and fishing.
But I think, as you see in the interview, there’s a magic here that grabs you, holds you, and reminds you what real life feels like.
Finding those moments when times seems to stand still and trouble stay their distance, is what I love about interviewing people.
I think in my life as a reporter/anchor at a television station in Oregon I probably interviewed over 10k people in my career.
Not everyone wants to be interviewed.
But once you start, as was with Dr Wilson, something inside them comes alive.
It’s a moment when you see who they truly are and can’t believe God creates such amazing people.
This interview with Dr Wilson is for the Surgeons website but it’s so good and filled with stories and deep moments, I think anyone and everyone will enjoy the deep dive and the exploration.
Maybe we should do more of this sort of thing.
Let the networks and big shots handle the Hollywood interviews and you and I will concentrate on real people.
We found a new brewery in Three Forks Montana we had to share with you. We talk with the brewer and find out the plan for this place. If you want to see it we show video in our Youtube podcast.
Also Bill Lundun joins us with news from all over the country. News you won't find anywhere else.
Let's get deep and personal. Life is a story and we get to choose to live it out loud or behind closed doors. But what are we doing with our lives and why does it matter? Let's talk.
I can't tell you why I like the guy you're about to listen too, so much. He's honest, raw and has come from a very dark place to one of great light.
He did it all through glass work.
Yeh, he blows glass.
But there is much more to his story and you will be inspired by it.
