5 Stars all the way!!!
This is the second book in the Ties that Bind series. In the first book Terri introduces us to the 3 most amazing women Iâve ever read about. This installment (book 2) is a kind of continuation of that story, but leaning more towards their family, their children to be exact. Itâs a very difficult book to read in a good way. You may not ever know how far youâll go to protect what is yours until youâre actually face to face with the evil that threatens to destroy it. I loved this story and everything about it, in it, and what it stands for!
I canât really say too much about the story without giving it away, but you should know thisâ This story will make you laugh out loud, cry out loud, and believe it or not, it will make the hair on the back of your neck stand on end. Itâs was riveting and passionate. These women are my heros in every way!
The story was compelling from book one to book two. The characters are extremely commanding and draw you into the most brilliant story. The dialogue flows nicely and feels and sounds natural and the tension is non-stop. Sheesh Terri, you made my ticker leap outta my chest a few times!! I love you, I love this story, and I love how your words make me feel. You totally rock!!!
Another awesome book
I was not sure how this book was going to be because Running From Beige was such an emotional book. Once again you had us holding on waiting to see what happened next. It's great to see 3 women who all were strangers deal with what they had endured and continue on a friendship and stay as close as they did. Always there for each other.
Reminds me of our special group and how we all are there for each other. We found each for one reason or another and I am happy to call them friends.
Once again Terri Marie another amazing and emotional book.Well done and I am looking forward to many more of your books to come.

You hit this out of the ballpark. You hit a few bumps but overcame them and gave us another spectacular book.
I never saw it coming
This book is a follow up to "Running From Beige". In that book we meet three women who are trapped in marriages where some things are very wrong. All three of them are wondering what they can do to save them selves from the terrible situations that they're in. They bond and manage to extricate themselves from the danger that they were in.
In "Secrets By the River", it is a number of years later, and you probably not recognize these strong and lovely ladies.
