Just when it seems that Alex and Rosie might be together forever, everything goes wrong: Alex gets the news that his family is leaving Dublin and moving to Boston. But on the eve of her departure, Rosie receives news that changes their lives forever. Her dreams for college, Alex, and a glamorous career are dashed as Rosie stays in Dublin while Alex pursues a medical career and a new love in Boston.
But destiny is a funny thing, and in this novel, structured as a series of clever e-mails, letters, notes, and a trail of missed opportunities, Alex and Rosie find out that fate isn't done with them yet. Delightfully unexpected and romantic, Love, Rosie is a novel of enormous heart that will keep listeners laughing and guessing until the very last word.
Critic Reviews:
"Rosie Dunne is a worthy protagonist, complex enough to be compelling and ordinary enough to be believable." (Publishers Weekly)

Wonderfully performed...
My husband and I both enjoyed this audio book very much. All of the characters are funny and wonderfully performed. A light, heart warming tale of love and loss and patience. V&T
Really really wonderful! This is a must listen.
I don't usually write reviews, but i just couldn't believe that there were bad reviews about this book. It is definitely one of the BEST audiobooks I have ever listened to, and I actually use it to convert non - audiobook people with great success! I have recommended it to at least 10 different women and they all had one comment - "I couldn't stop laughing!!" Rosie is a wonderful character who is easy to love and root for, and the narrator did a great job with the accents and the emotion behind the words.
If you have a sense of humor, are a romantic, and like a girl with a little spunk.. Give this one a try - you won't regret it!
so sweet!
love the irish accent, love the story, wish it was unabridged though
Great storyline
I didn't realize that this was the abridged version with different narrators. the story is awesome, but the abridged version is lacking and the original narrator was much better.
Easy Listen, Entertaining, Good Characters
If you could sum up Love, Rosie (a.k.a. Rosie Dunne) in three words, what would they be?
fun light touching
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
The narration was great - different narrators for men and women and appropriate accents, best narration work I've heard.
Any additional comments?
Highly recommend for easy listening - it's a good, fun storyline and the characters will hook you. It was a bit frustrating at times between Rosie and Alex but stayed true to their characters.
