My first anything my this author. And it was very enjoyable.

Jake, was a character that I found pretty negative towards himself. Its like hes bitter with himself for having the feeling or lack of feelings. So where he wants the partner, and happy ever after, hes already resigned himself to that never happening. And any relationship that may come across, already has an exp. date.

Damien, is almost the exact opposite, very sexual. Which I also found unique for his background. Although we were never told that he worked the streets as a young teenager. It was implied. So you would have thought with that background he would shy away from sex. Not the case. It almost became annoying the way he would want and want and then get mad.

Both Damien and Jake had a lot of issues to work out and through. Luckily, Jake has the music as a release but Damien needs something.

As you can tell, you really get sucked into these characters and the drama surrounding them. Which is great, but then it always makes you have a lot of opinions about certain things. And you try for that not to influence the review, it does.

I cant say, in real life if this would be a healthy relationship, without either one of these people getting help. But I love that both are trying and are devoted to each other by the end.

The narrator did a wonderful job keeping up with it all, from Judy, to Diane to the men in the story.

Sensual, tantalizing, and a fantastic listen are the words that I would throw in the air off the top of my head.

When the dynamics between the main character and the maid begin to change, the moment was tense and at a urging cusp.

What does Peter Stewart bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

In my personal opinion I find erotica/romance to be more greatly elevated when in an audiobook form. I know some people prefer to be able to read this type of book in the secluded privacy of their own mind, but I find it most tantalizing to do so while driving or with earbuds. Peter Stewart manages to bring an added level of sensual seduction that enhances the narrative.

If you could take any character from Maid to Change out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I would take the maid out as she was an interesting character that hints at a most interesting dinner and coffee after.

This is an excellent story to add to your audio collection if you enjoy this type of material. A lot of other narrated books in this category fall short with unenthusiastic talent and poor editing.

Well not horrible but could have been better.

No, because it is n't enough story to the book. Hey I love a good sex scene but the sex was more explaining of the actual act of sex and not the pleasure or hotness of sex. Not sure if I am explaining it correctly but it wasn't so much as hot in some places but more of a Gay Sex for Dummies type of feel. It was OK,

I would be because I understand that all books aren't written the same even when it is by the same author. I also understand that sometimes it is Narration that can make or break a book.

Listen I have a love/hate relationship with this narrator. She narrates a lot of the short erotica books that I read but man I just feel that her voice never gives me anything different. I mean she has narrated some really good books but honestly I would know her voice now in a crowd.

Amazing again!

In the interest of fairness I must point out that I love Patricia Logan however I love her so much that if she does something I don't like I tell her (loudly, frequently and publicly!) fortunately my only gripe was that she has ended in a cliff hanger. AGAIN! Evil tease!!! I am constantly amazed at the emotions she can conjure from a blank page, once again I find myself wanting to hug all the poor young boys, give the bad guys a good slap and don't get me started on Master P! She also manages to introduce us to so many different aspects of BDSM and you really feel the love and respect that the Doms have for their subs. It is not about violence as some less informed people may believe. And as ever the sex scenes are sizzling. But the overall emotion I got from this book was fun. In fact I find it hard to think back without starting to giggle. The fantastic receptionist Vesper, from Kaden returns in a new role, one she is definitely making her mark in and as for the latest receptionist .... lets just say that that phrase any resemblance to persons living or dead is entirely coincidental does NOT apply here .... (but he started it ROFL) Go stalk Patrica on facebook and you might spot the friend / nemesis he may or may not be based on! All in all another triumph ... now to go and yell at her to finish Stix!!!

Grit by Patricia Logan

All my favorite characters are in this book. There is a new boy added named Grit. He used to go out of his house and sell himself as a drag queen. He got beat up very badly. Cassidy feels bad for the kid so he asks Zack if he could take him in at the BDSM club. Of course, Zack makes poor Cassidy pay for it at home with a surprise enema. Grit gets assigned a loving cute hot Dom to help him out. Right now nothing is going on because Grit needs to heal. Lots of things go on and we are left hanging especially when our dear Wade/Trick sees his Dom in action having sex in scene. This breaks his heart and it will break yours too. I don't want to say how Wade reacts but what he does, we are left to freeze on ice until the next book. This book was great just like the other ones. I love this series. I don't ever want them to end. I recommend this to all. Excellent writing and I enjoyed each and every word. I can't wait until Stix comes out in July.

Wow. This was actually published.

I sincerely dislike negative reviews on good or even okay books. You know, "If you haven't anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

But I'm making a special case for this because it wasn't even okay.

Clearly written by a sexually frustrated woman (or teenage girl, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest) in the poorly-attempted 'witty' voice of two gay men, in which it seems she's never actually even met a homosexual.

Aswell, the narrator clearly did this as a money job and nothing else; sounding droll and monotone the while time.

The story was uninspired (or maybe overly inspired by terrible gay fanfics and smut and campy teen movies from the 80's-90's). The characters were utterly cliche, one a sweet, businessy boy-scout-type (though not actually a boy scout) and the bad boy with a heart of gold from the wrong side of the tracks.

In short, boring, poor in all accounts, and honestly not even all that arousing.

Butt Naked Stars

I love the setting of this story, Joey and Dave are just so dang cute together.

Getting stuck outside because of a storm they ended up in a cabin, Joey isnt a fan of storm.. Do I get that.. ;)

But Dave was a perfect gentleman. The next day when they got back to camp, there was another story only this time Joey wasnt a perfect gentlemen he was exactly what Dave needed. It got HOT!

Yay for male narrator I loved it. He did a great job. I will be more than happy to listen to audio by him.

Wanting My Best Friend Stars

Hmm, Ok I liked it. But I dont agree with the characters thats ok right?

Stevie has a roommate/best friend for years Tommy. And he starts to see him in a new light. I like this it was fun and quarky. But we also find out Tommy has been seeing Stevie in a new way as well. I like that it was like a mutual attraction.

They both have girlfriends so it threw them for a loop to start thing about each other in a sexual way. I also really like the fact that they talked about their attraction before acting on it. Oh and the acting on it.. grabs fan and fans self that was smoking.

Here is where I dont agree with them, they dont think acting on their attraction is wrong with them both having girlfriends.

Loved the narration again he did a great job bring this story to life in my ears :-D

Excellent short story, first time lesbian, lesbian romance.

Charlie"s jerk of a husband dumps her, but in the back of Charlie"s head she is happy to have the chance to start over. Which brings her to Ireland for a job interview with her favorite author. A job she gets as her only to fall head over heals for the author. Who falls for her as well.

So sweet and so hot!

I loved this book for a few reasons, firstly even though it's short it's got a solid plot and the relationship development is believable. Secondly it shows that loving someone is not about their gender but who they are. Thirdly it gives a glimpse into the process a writer can use to create believable characters and I found this really interesting!

I felt so bad for Charlee at the beginning her husband was an abusive arse! When she meets Annika there is an instant connection but not a romantic one, I love that this takes time to develop, it's realistic so I'm able to believe it could happen the way it does.

And when things do start happening... hot!

The narration is lovely and smooth, the character voices are well delivered and the emotion of the story comes through really nicely.

Overall, ok for a short story. The narrator was decent. I wanted more but couldn't expect it from a short story.

I only wish it were longer & more fleshed out, there is soo much more to this book that could be expanded on, wasted potential

A Fanciful Romp

A sweet story of fanciful romance, erotic discovery, and a dash of supernatural peril. The setting is beautifully detailed and the characters kept my interest. A fun adventure both geographic and porngraphic.
