It's great to have copies of Luke on hand to give ...

It's great to have copies of Luke on hand to give to people. Anyone can read Luke's account of Jesus Christ and decide for themselves if 1) Jesus was a man like us who preached some great sermons, 2) Jesus was God, but I'm still going to do it my way, or 3) Jesus was God, and I am going follow him and obey every word he has spoken. I have chosen #3.

Ugh, I get so tired of the old English style 1800's narration to Neville Godard bks! So much is lost in the fancy intonation old English accents.

But this was the best bk so far. & I've heard quite a few.

A Gift from the Most High

I was thoroughly impressed by Henry Jackson, III's work! I like to feed myself spiritually. But I know that I have not been giving this my full and due attention. When I first heard the words of this great book, I was floored. It was as if God Himself had said these words through Henry Jackson just for me to hear them.

For the past year I've been reading a devotional on my Bible app but I was doing just what Henry Jackson stated in his book. I was only reading, I was not study. Now I have a greater appreciation for why I need to spend more time with the word and why and how it will enhance my life. I'm very grateful for this book and I know that anybody else who reads it will find a very similar experience as the one that I have had. Great job Mr. Jackson!

What made the experience of listening to Stop Reading, Start Studying the most enjoyable?

I really grasp things better when they are read to me. Being dyslexic I find it easier to listen than to read, and when you listen you can close your eyes and envision what is being said and think about ways to apply it to your life.

What other book might you compare Stop Reading, Start Studying to and why?

I would compare it to "the complete guide to the bible" By Adam Hamilton. I had to read that book in a religion class in college and they have some similar ideas in them. For instance understanding the language and way the Bible is written.

Which character as performed by Jeff Davenport was your favorite?

There were no characters, but I would love to hear Jeff Davenport do character voices. I think he would be great at it. I am about to see what other books he has narrated and consider getting them for my next coin.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I could go either way on this one if you have two and a half hours then yes, if you don't then just driving to and from work you could listen to this in 2-3 days depending on how long your drive is.
