So bad I'm returning this book!

The narration is truly awful. Pete Grieg reads in an overly dramatic fashion, he constantly hesitates and uses so much false laughter it seriously distracts from the book. I managed to listen to half the book but can't abide the narration any further - it ruins what is probably a good book about prayer. I do not recommend buying this audio book!

This book is a good primary source for essentials of our faith and a good starter for the beginning Christian. While most of these essentials are brief in their presentations they do inspire one to do more in-depth studies.

I love how the chapters in this book are not long(maybe two pages at most). R.C. really talks about common misinterpretations of the Bible and give great practical guidance. I love that I could read 1-2 chapters before bed and just meditate on those chapter all day.
