Whether you consider yourself an ultra-conservative Christian who can trace their Roots back to the first century or a modern 21st Christian who attends a megachurch you need to read this book. before you listen to what one more modrrn preachee or pastor has to say on his interpretation of the church that Jesus Christ established, read with the apostles and their early disciples said about the purpose of the Lord's church and how it was to change the world. You might get mad, you will definitely be sad but this book will affect you... you will not be the same afterwards and you will not View the Christianity that is in the world today the same after reading what the writers in the first three centuries wrote about the pattern of the church that the apostles left for them to follow. For too long Christians have accepted the history of the church based on what men who lived a thousand or two thousand years afterwards interpreted as being... it's time you read what those that were living it at the time actually said about it and how they felt Jesus expected them to live and to organize his church and to treat each other, and also their position in the world. Loved everything!!

The book itself was AMAZING!! There were a few times I wanted to stop listening just because the book was touching on some sensitive subjects, but I absolutely love the book. The narrator did a fabulous job! I'm incredibly impressed with how well pronounced every word was and how her voice didn't get quiet as she spoke. It wasn't monotone, dull, or tiring which is a rarity. She put emphasis where it was needed and used a stern tone when necessary as well. The book was wonderful and the narrator did a wonderful job! It felt the writers themselves were reading it.

Real relatable refreshing relationship boosts!

I highly recommend this audio book to women of all ages and stages. It was 'amazing' to glean from 8 fascinating women as they share vulnerable tested actual relationship life struggles and outcomes. I've enjoyed the new music and humble sermons coming from Bethel but never had the chance before to sit/ walk/ live and learn beside these different aged women of faith with time tested wisdom.

This great seasoned collection (16 chapters) came with ready applications to my real longings for tighter relationships with family and friends as I work out my journey following my chief Love -our Messiah Jesus. There is even a chapter with incredible thoughtful prayers to apply specifically to us and loved ones for His beautiful life-changing empowering liberty.

Anthea does an engaging heart felt job with her voice bringing me right into the intensity of each story. After I started relishing re listening to this book, I discovered she also sounds great with inflections and expressions at the 1.25 sped up option too. I'm even learning more the second time through and love having her declare/read such HOPE to me whenever I have a few moments to listen. Thank you amazing ladies and our amazing God!

Helps with understanding and questioning our lives

I love all of Max Lucado's books. He has a way of putting God's words into current affairs and making the relevant to my life. The question at the end make you stop and check your relationship with God and others. This book put the events around Christ's birth is a slightly different light allowing a better understanding of the responses of all.

Encouraging Stories from a seasoned believer

What made the experience of listening to Heavenly Visitation the most enjoyable?

I really enjoyed listening to this book on Audible. The narrator had a pleasant voice, and I could work around the house while getting through the book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Heavenly Visitation?

I was encouraged by the story about Jesus taking Kevin to a scene that looked like White Sands Missile Range to see the efficacy of his prayers.

I was deeply encouraged. I have been looking for more guidance on why we need to speak aloud and declare things aloud. This book gave insight.

Seductively Challenge what are consider facts

Awesome insight by an experienced and intelligent biologist with vast of experience in the field. Also with plenty of experimented proofs to support his insights.

Douglas Axe, P.h.D ingeniously poke some buttons that should've been poked many years ago and should been take in serious consideration about "facts" that are being forced in the classroom without a solid foundation.

The beginning of the book seems to me too philosophical but about chapter 3 and 4 all becomes clear, when Douglas start to present undeniable proof to support the statements, previously introduced.

In the last too chapters, Douglas beautifully painted with words how incredible would be if the scientific community would allow concerns, experimentations and observations to be, once more, the leading force that drives Science.

This book is also read very clearly, plus the format of language makes it easy to understand even for those not familiar with genetics, scientific insights or biology technical language. Extremely clear and refreshing.

Very thorough!

Axe does a great job presenting a, basically, complete case. I love the science being a science teacher myself. I love the truth proclaimed being a truth seeker as well.

I bought the book as well, have read much of it but because I drive a great deal I wanted the audio book as well. I expect I will finish the book as well. Having both helps to grasp the concepts in the book which are challenging if you aren't a scientist but they are explained in a way that one can grasp, understand. It reminds me of some of the ideas I have learned from GK Chesterton and CS Lewis. Very interesting, fascinating. Complex inventions do not happen by accident. Everyone knows this to be true. Very encouraging to have a brilliant scientist confirm what my intuition tells me is obvious.

A hidden diamond of truth that truly helped within

I am writing this review since I was prompted after listening to this book once. I was getting ready to listen to it again since the wealth of understanding needs to be heard repeatedly. I have since gifted the book to someone I know who will benefit from it.
