John the Baptist foretold of Jesus’ first coming. He prepared hearts for Jesus. As we wait for Jesus’ second coming, we ready our hearts to meet him.

When Jesus returns, he will judge the world with righteousness and his kingdom will be established forever.

Patience is a virtue. We don’t like to wait. God promised deliverance from sin through Jesus, and he is coming again to take us to heaven forever.

Jesus could return at any time. He has left us with his powerful word to prepare us for an eternal life with him.

Thanksgiving is a time to pause and worship God for all his blessings and honor the day of rest that our God gives to us.

Jesus had plans during his time on earth, plans to save. As we plan out our time, we trust that God’s purpose and plan is always best.
