Thankfulness is not a trait that comes naturally to us. Yet when we practice gratitude in our lives, especially remembering our salvation, a grateful heart will grow.

The jealousy of others caused trouble for Daniel, but God shut the mouths of powerful lions to rescue him. Nothing in our lives is too great for God.

Our national election is just days away. Who will win? How will our country respond? As God’s people, we can rest assured—those who are elected are placed in those positions by God.

God watched over Daniel and made him successful in a new regime. Daniel experienced success as God determined, just as we do.

Jesus taught that each kingdom has a God-given purpose, and we should honor each accordingly.

God cannot be mocked. King Belshazzar defied God and God acted. God wants all people to be saved and doesn’t want anything to stand in the way of that desire.

Is there a perfect form of government in this world? Such a task is impossible, because every government is subject to sin and thought up by sinful people. Our imperfect state drives us to the perfect Jesus.
