Omg! I delayed listening to this for a while because I wasn't sure how I felt about it. And I delayed finishing it once started because Albert was an unbelievably infuriating homophobe!!! (An amazing feet on Yamila's part to really ruffle my feathers about a character! (not the violent or name calling homophobe type. Just different morals.) I finally found the time and patience to finish it and my goodness am I glad I did!!! How amazing that I went from hating a character to endearing him and his character development and protective nature towards Denton! If you're not sure then please give it a chance! You'll really love it by the end and wish like I do that there's more!

Nice modern gay romance

Another good m/m romance from Yamila Abraham. While I'm more into her fantasy-themed romances, this one was certainly decent and probably is more relevant to real-life. Nevertheless, fans of her work should give this one a try.

Just loved it.

The writing of the characters was so engaging that I had to keep listening to find out what was next. Just a great story.

terrible narrator

it was hard to follow along, fake accents sometimes you can't tell if it's supposed to be the male or female speaking. and bounces back and forth between characters so quick, it takes a minute to figure out who is speaking now. hardest story I've had to follow along with some far. story was ok, but not great. don't think I'll continue the series

I love this addition to the Zero Ohio Series by Megan Slayer. Redeeming Raygan is both sweet and hot at the same time.

Raygan has just inherited the eight ball bar. He is not really thrilled. He has been burn at love and is really cynical about it now. He is a good guy who has had a lot of tough breaks.

Jeep Grusin is an author; he comes to Zero Ohio to research a book. He too has been hurt in love. But he is much more open to finding love again. Especially with the man he cannot stop thinking aboutâ Regan.

Together both men mature as this book unfolds. They go from a place of insecurities to a strong love that can withstand anything. I liked watching the journey nothing seemed rushed or out of place. There are some very hot sex scenes too that will keep you reading. The story itself, a tale of accepting yourself and growing from what life throws at you is one I am very glad to have read.

Megan Slayer brings great stories to live with characters I will never forget. This book is no acceptation. Zero Ohio is part of a series and should be read in order. There are people we know and love from other Zero Ohio stories in this book. If you like true love and a small town feel Zero Ohio is the perfect book for you.

Raygan and Jamie (or Jeep) both has failed relationships however, Rayganâs past contains so much more and that comes through clear as day from the start. Raygan and Jamie (Jeep) work well together as a couple. They do have chemistry but I do think the amount of passion that comes across is sometimes overshadowed by the information dump. In addition to that I do feel that the writing could have been much smoother. The background info that was given was a bit distracting since it came in clumps.

There are also some contrasts in the character and the writing that kept me from clearly understanding the character. In one scene Jamie knows what he wants and who he wants but then a couple pages later the complete opposite is being said. However, this could be testament to the kind of person Jamie has become due to his ghosts but I couldnât be sure. Both Jamie and Raygan have been hurt in the past. They both have ghosts that they need to slay and they do.

I did enjoy the plot and the ending is surprisingly different but well laid out.

This is the first book I have read in this series and it could be read as a standalone. Readers who enjoy some steamy M/M should give this one a try and maybe find a whole series to jump into.

Loved It! What a way to start a series...very stimulating!!!

What did you like best about this story?

Gustav doesn't go down the typical overdone route of extreme submissiveness and degredation on the part of the husband, he gets right to the root of what makes this fetish compelling: The feeling of being torn between extreme arousal and incredible jealousy. This is a theme throughout all of his stories and it's in full effect here.

What does Catherine Carter bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

She's got a nice voice, and is quite relaxing to listen to. It brings an edge that you don't get from text.

Third part in this series can be read as a stand alone but it is more hot fun to read the other parts first.

Now she is a pregnant hucow she still has a feeling something is not right about the farm. She asks a friend to do some investigation and he tells her the mafia is involved and to drop it. Of course she is to curious to drop it.
