Loved It! What a way to start a series...very stimulating!!!
Nina Scott a self-made millionaire; divorce from a good-for-nothing husband; have a lover who is a married man. In spite of all her money Nina is a lonely woman.
Materially Nina couldn't ask for anything more, in a snap of a finger she can have whatever she wants. She tried to blend in with the rich and famous, doing everything to please everybody so that they will accept her in their circle. They accept her money, but as a person they still consider her as an outsider. Nina got tired of this situation and decided to let go of those elite membership.
Devin McIntyre the man Nina cannot have. The man who owns her heart. But it's time to face the music, so-to-speak, and end all connections to Devin and also to show him that she's moving on with her life.
After all have been said and done, Nina decided to enjoy the night away and went to a bar to unwind until she heard the voice which got her attention to look and got mesmerized by the gorgeous man singing on the stage.
When their eyes met, Aiden got interested in knowing Nina, of course, Nina not keen on starting a new relationship, but Aiden is determined to let Nina know his intention.

Hot Damn! Angelica Chase never ceases to amaze me with her books and this series promises to be one hell of a ride.
From the start, you are thrust into a world of money and decadence. Nina and Devin are hot and heavy and everything sexy, but something is missing, a connection that Nina desires by Devin will never get. She know she has to get away from him, it's better for everyone involved. The only problem is the hold he had over her, he's her drug of choice and a hard addiction to end.
However, walking away from him is what she does. It hurts like hell, but the life she's living is all it's cracked up to be. She needs to escape for a bit to clear her head. While escaping for the day, she comes face to face with someone new.
