Forewarned is forearmed
No one wants to think about needing long term care for self or loved one, but reality cannot be escaped. I have worked in this environment as an RN, and have seen first-hand the devastation that can befall a family. While my perspective varies from that of the attorney who formulated and keeps updating this book, I know that the information here can smooth things for overwhelmed families. Brick and mortar facilities, as well as home care and hospice agencies have social workers available, but being aware and prepared is best for your own mental health as well as your pocket book. This book will be an invaluable asset to you if you apply the knowledge gained.
Be aware, however, that this book is aimed to the needs of older individuals.
Narrator Jack has a clear, well-modulated speaking voice with clear enunciation which enhances the material presented by the author.

There is a ton of helpful information here, so there weren't any scenes.

A must read for everyone...
I received this audio book in exchange for a honest and unbiased review. This book is about everything we need to know about our care and well being as we get old. Here we learn about what medicare does and doesn't cover and when. We learn about VA care (Veterans) and we learn about guardianship. We learn about doing wills, about our assets and power of attorney. All about nursing homes and other options, along with Hospice and when we qualify.
