I would read this over and over again. As with all self-help books it is crucial to digest them part by part to really understand what the message is. Also in order to live the book it is important to remember or re-read and then practice until it becomes a habit.

I must say the entire book memorable. It is a great book that if read properly and even with an open mind for the doubtful ones will change your life.

I was really hoping that we would eventually get to the "solution" for emotional sobriety. Instead, the book delved into the parenting aspects and the childhood trauma that creates emotional sobriety.

Great Book for those from Dysfunction

If you had completely abismal parents with severe mental illness or addiction this book is for you. I can't praise this book enough for those who had completely incompetent people as parents. Now if you had slightly selfish parents who were meaningfully employed but were too controlling or manipulative, then Toxic Parents would be a better book for you. It depends on your situation. I like both books but this one was more applicable to me.

I am so happy this book is in print. This book represents a well-articulated map of the recovery journey - from relational trauma to resilience and balance. This is a valuable resource for anyone making their way back to wholeness or helping someone to do so.

This is the only audible title I have been unable to listen to due to the consistant gaps between spoken words. I am sure the content is of interest, however the very long silence between words is so frustrating I cannot possibly concentrate on the content. Unimpressed

Would not recommend as an audio book

What did you like best about All Is Well? What did you like least?

I would not recomend this as an audio book. It is too hard to follow. It would be helpful to at least have a handout with the different affirmations for each health issue. I prefer Louise's original You Can Heal Your Life book. This seemed repetitive. Also, I did not enjoy how Mona read it. She paused a lot which created an awkward flow. Overall, I would recommend getting this as an actual book so you can have the affirmations or just getting the original You Can Heal Your Life book.

Horrible Performance overshadows the positive

Unfortunately the person reading this book makes it almost unbearable to listen to. I love Louise Hay's work and the written content of this book is good. I am forcing myself to finish the audible book but have purchased the Kindle Edition so that I can gain what the frustration is keeping me from getting from listening!

How could the performance have been better?

Having someone read the book that is able to read comfortably without constant chopping and lengthy hesitation with the words would be awesome.

Did All Is Well inspire you to do anything?

Not so far. I am sure that I will be better inspired by the Kindle version.

I would suggest that this be re-done with another reader and re-released.

GET THE PRINT VERSION! HORRIBLE NARRATOR!

I will think again before I spring for another Louise Hay audio book! Nobody at Hay House or Audible is using good judgment and common sense in deciding quality of the final product. This woman physician is a worse narrator than General Wesley Clark or that horrible Mary Sarah Angliotta(?) person! Dr. Schulz is worse than the kid up the street! She. Pronounces. Each. Word. With. More. Emphasis. Than. It. Probably. Deserves. And then she rushes something and enunciates so badly that the words are hard to make out. She repeatedly struggles to say multiple sclerosis, and struggles to pronounce the very medications that she wrote into the book! A professional narrator would have gone over these parts and gotten them down before doing the reading.

The book is much better than the ratings indicate!

Okay, the title is too clever by half. But Bob Knight's philosophy of winning is applicable to more than sports; it is equally applicable to the business world and to our personal lives. It is very sound.

The book was a fun read for me not because I am a fan of Bob Knight, because I am not. I'm a lifelong fan of the UNC Tar Heels, my alma mater. The book was fun because of the light and airy style and because a master of his craft wrote it. And because I love listening to Dick Hill narrate.

If you love college basketball by all means get this excellent book.

Simplistic

Nothing about Knight's background, what made him who he is. I was looking forward to hearing his thoughts given his success. This is a lot of "Know when to fold 'em", "Know thyself", "Prepare to win", "Sweat is better than hope" trite crap. And, even worse, clearly the publisher tries to aim at the business market, so the book is replete with attempts to draw parallels between "Knight's Nuggets" and the business world - just in case you're too stupid to draw the parallel on your own. Just kind of silly.

Mike Leach's book Swing Your Sword is much better and succeeds not only as being interesting to the football fan but also as being relevant to anyone's goal of leading a group. It was after reading Leach's book I started looking for books by and about coaches. The Landry Lombardi book wasn't as good, and neither is this one. Next up: Summitt's.

Interesting book. This book gives fresh insight on negative thinking. This book tells of the value of negative thinking, contrary to other popular books.

Before reading this book I had the perception of coach Knight created by the media. With this book he taught me never judge before you get to know somebody's values.

What does Craig Groeschel bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

It was good having the author read the book. It made the transparent parts of the book believable.

What did you learn from Altar Ego that you would use in your daily life?

I was reminded and challenged by the idea that I'm an ambassador for Christ and that makes me the highest ranking official of His kingdom in my sphere of influence.

A Mind Expanding Journey into the Matrix

I have listened to this program a number of times and as usual the Matrix team continue to expound on the Matrix Energetics System

What did you like best about this story?

Richard and Melissa are Great together. Richard can be loud and in your face at times but his message is always on point. They teach how to get out of your head and into your heart where all possibilities are possible.

I am currently studying Walter Russell physics and was very open to both Richard's and Melissa's ideas

Just what I needed

I found I wanted to listen to this in one sitting, but I resisted as I really wanted to take in the ideas. I will re listen with notebook & pen to take down points of interest.

A British Malcolm Gladwell

While readers may not agree with every point Oliver Burkeman makes about happiness and uncertainty, it's a good bet they're nearly unanymous concerning his thoughtful and provocative style of journalism. Like Malcolm Gladwell's books, The Antidote is an intellectual feast for people who love exploring different ideas. Also like Gladwell, he does a great job reading his own material which really is an added pleasure.

Instant classic

Before this, I have read some positive-thinking books from Anthony Robbins, Robin Sharma and Robert Kiyosaki. At first, it seemed like they were going to change my life, like if they showed me the path to reach eternal happiness and joy. But it wasn't so easy. Things sometimes can go wrong, sh*t happens. This book show you how to accept life as it is, without necessarily rejecting to your goals or dreams if you are willing to have them. I won't say that possitive-thinking books are totally uneuseful, but with The Antidote you learn that the way they try to teach you how to live or confront issues is not the best approach.

Great book for those who dislike positivity's cult

Los conocimientos y consejos son aplicables para la gran mayoría de las personas y países occidentales; sin embargo, hay que escuchar este audiolibro de manera racional y analizar cuáles conocimientos o consejos son realmente aplicables para cada caso en particular, ya que el mundo es heterogéneo y los hábitos culturales/religiosos tienen más peso de lo que el libro te quiere hacer creer, no es tan sencillo sólo desear algo para obtenerlo (sobre todo las riquezas).

El poder de la mente

Sí crees que con el poder de la auto convicción y la motivación puedes conseguir cualquier cosa que te propongas... probablemente ya no necesitas éste libro. Y si no lo crees, éste libro no te va a hacer cambiar de parecer.

¿Qué hacer? ¡Ser perfecto! ¿Cómo no se te había ocurrido antes?. No te equivoques al elegir a tus socios; no seas nunca negativo; has de ser una de esas persona que motivan a los demás con solo hablar; has de tener un plan de acción infalible definido, replantearse mucho el plan no es bueno; has de tener una pareja sentimental que te quiera, pues la motivación del amor es muy poderosa; etc, etc...

¿Cómo conseguir tener todas esa cualidades que ya te imaginabas que te ayudarian? De eso habla poco...

No le pongo menos de una estrella (aunque tampoco podría) por la última parte.

Independientemente de que puedas o no conseguir el éxito en aquello que te propones, si te dedicas sistemáticamente a buscar excusas para no intentar nada, no conseguirás nada.
