Hey ya'll! I've been gone, off the planet for a while, but hopefully not forgotten! So just to let you know WE'RE BAAAAACK!!!  And I'm going to post a few of the "Best Of" episodes to get the Get UnStuck podcast back on the scene gradually and work our way into some new and exciting episodes!

Starting with one of my favorites:  No Worries!

It's not productive;  the Bible says in Philippians 4:6  "Don't worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart; v.7 and God's peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus.  Well, there it is - if you worry, why pray? You will inevitably run into people and situations that will tempt you to lower your standards, your values even your posture (LOL)– I feel that and I completely understand the temptation. In the words of our forever First Lady, Michelle Obama, “when they go low, you go high!” Just let it go! 

Before you lower anything about yourself, walk away from the argument, the person, or the situation - whatever you need to walk away from to maintain your personal posture of peace.  Allow your emotions time and space to return you to your center.

Grief comes intrusively at all the wrong times, especially during the Christmas holidays. This episode is an interview with my friend and Author Tasha Moody - who is well acquainted with grief in that she, the same as me, lost her daughter. She published a beautiful devotional about grief called After the Sun Sets.  Listen to how she copes with the loss of her daughter, and how she shares with us about her faith in God and of her hope for reconnecting with her daughter.
