Today we are going to talk about our Past, Present, and Future Goals with our team here at City Hall. Some major topics will include:
1. How do we set Goals for ourselves, and how do we hold ourselves accountable? Wellness? Life?
2. What do we do if we do not attain those goals? How do we deal with failure?
3. What is the next step when we succeed?
Today our guest hosts come to us from the City of Yuma PD Training Unit to discuss the difference between training and working out both at home and at work, what impact nutrition has on fitness and if we really need to focus on both, and a great Round Robin of questions to finish off this all encompassing topic.

Today the teams that fall under the umbrella of the Yuma Area Benefits Consortium met for their 1st Annual Wellness Retreat to build upon how to provide the best possible product to employees located at the City of Yuma, Crane School District, and Arizona Western College.
Take some time to listen as Tiffany Ott (Crane), Lisa Swenson (AWC), Shelly Hook (COY), Robert Duffy (COY), and Coach Stephanie (WELCOAZ) discuss what was learned, what needs to continue to be improved upon, and some overall best practices at each entity at the Retreat and the Trust Board Meeting that followed.

Today we were able to discuss Holistic Wellness with guest Host Mayra Alexandre from the different vantage points of Rob our Ambassador in HR, Karla our Ambassador in Finance, Regina our Ambassador in Parks & Rec, and our YABC Health Coach Stephanie.
If you had questions on what Holistic Wellness is, how you can implement it both at work and at home, and what steps you can take to further your own personal wellness, take some time and listen to employees discuss those very same topics and dispel some of the myths that may surround this incredible topic.

The Healthy Arizona Worksite Program has a lot of information and ideas to help promote on site Wellness Programs like the one we have here at the City of Yuma. In this episode we met with Dianna Scaccia, MS our HAWP Instructor, and individuals from each Wellness Committee located at City of Yuma (Rob Duffy), Crane School District (Adrianna Solarzano), and Arizona Western College (Jane Peabody) who support the YABC Wellness Program through WELCOAZ.
On this episode we discuss what the Seven Dimensions of Wellness are and what they mean to us on a more personal level.
