Wonderful book

J is a really good friend and I'm so happy to recommend this book that he has created. In the digital bonus pack he actually reads it so if you're in a car kids can listen to the captivating story while reading the book themselves. I hope everyone with kids will buy this book.

Tummy Town Way is wonderfully illustrated and full of fun rhyme.

This is a fun book to read while teaching valuable healthy-eating lessons. My children want me to read it again and again. We talk about the beautiful pictures and learn even more!

Exceptionally good

As a chiropractor, I know the importance of nutrition on overall health. I have also seen first hand the problems a poor diet can cause in children. When I saw "Sean Learns The Tummy Town Way" in my dentist's office, I was so impressed that I ordered 15 copies to give as gifts. "Sean Learns The Tummy Town Way" is a delightful book with brilliant illustrations that teaches children to eat healthful fruits and vegetables. I highly recommend this book for all families with young children. Kids love the fun story and colorful pictures, and learn the importance of good nutrition.

I loved the book.

Heartwarming, fun story!

What a fun story! I loved reading about a little girl who had such a passion for baseball, and was also so excited to spend the day with her family. I could feel Ashley's excitement as she readied herself for her big day at the ballpark, hoping what all children (young and old) hope for - to catch a ball. The surprise inside is unexpected and funny. We can create wonderful memories with our family when we all spend time together. I loved this book - it's my "go to" teacher's gift, and gift for girls in my family and daughters of friends. Add it to your library!

It not only was a great introductory lesson to the literary process

I had the pleasure of attending Marla McKenna's author visitation to my daughter's school. Having a firsthand experience of her presentation, she truly captivated her audience. It not only was a great introductory lesson to the literary process, but delivered such a positive message to kids to never give up on their dreams. The kids were lining up to receive their own copy signed by the author herself.

"Mom's Big Catch" is such a fun story of a family's adventure to the ballpark that keeps the reader guessing on what will happen next. As an educator and parent, I highly recommend this book.

I love this book and can't wait to see the special version with the 2016 Baseball World Champion Chicago Cubs. It's so great how a change of team and venue open this up to a whole new reader fan base. Mr. Percy's Mysterious Glasses - another book, written by Michelle King, that should be given to teachers

As with Michelle King's "Barrett's Unusual Ice Cream Party" this book would be a good gift for teachers. As a retired elementary school teacher, I can see there are many places in the book to stop and discuss situations that, for example, have happened on the playground. I received this book at no cost to me, and I can honestly say that this book is worth checking out, especially for the teachers of upper elementary school students.

Pretty good book that got me thinking

I originally thought this was an OK book when I read it to my kids. The writing style was OK but not great and so was the story but I found myself referring back to it and asked my children what color glasses they were wearing. It turned into a great opportunity to teach.

A fantastic story and a wonderful message! The book is a great read, simple yet insightful.

Written so that children can read it rather easily and it relates very well to them. We had a great time discussing the meaning of the book with our children.

This is a good book to use for a children's sermon and making decisions.

Good curriculum foundation

Ms Ruben's book offers a simple yet important story, told in a way that even very young children can understand. It lends itself well to becoming the basis for a Sunday School, VBS or homeschool lesson, activity or curriculum.

Best I've seen in a long time

As a father of 6, the ease of understanding, the ability to keep a child's interest (and mine), the pictures, all were just truly wonderful. Nice job Ms. Ruben...

Valuable but a bit too adult friendly

I have a hard time not giving this five stars because there are so few books with a Romani main character. It is good. It is the only book I know off for children that portrays a Romani character in a story that isn't necessarily related to the fact that the character is Romani and Roma are not presented in a negative way. He's just a kid with a story and he appears to be Romani. That's fairly revolutionary in and of its self. And the text and illustrations are all above average for children's books. And yet, I have to grumble a little. Both the text and the illustrations are very adult friendly, very artsy and with "deep" meaning. Maybe this is meant for seven-and-eight-year-olds to discuss with their parents and not for preschool children. I don't know, but I've never met a seven or eight-year-old who still read picture books with parents. And the illustrations and text are hard for my preschoolers to get. They listen to a lot of complex books but this is just a bit too oblique. Given how rare such a main character is, I do wish the book was more kid-friendly.

Juso "ok"

It was kind of funny and kind of educational, yet it was too wordy. I bought it as a joke for a girlfriend. I would not buy it otherwise.

Cute story, but terrible formatting.

I have no qualms with picking up children's books for my kindle, as I have nephews and nieces. The title of this one made me chuckle a bit, and the buck-toothed bee on the cover with the ginormous buttcheeks would make any child giggle, I'm sure. The story is an empowering one - Bob's big bee butt saves the entire colony; the moral is that differences are good.

The formatting is terrible. The font is at least a size 48, so there's approximately 10 words per page, and it's all in the "justified" alignment, so there are giant spaces between words. Because of this, it's a little disjointed. This book might actually be tolerable if it had better formatting.

Sound Affects, and a Great Moral...awesome childrens book!

Bumble Bee Bob is really quite fun to read. Its a toungue twister, with abundant sound effects that will send any kid, or (the kid in all of us) into a giggle frenzy. Not only is the story great, entertaining, and a real hoot to read, it is an excercise of the mouth and vocabulary booster!!

I mostly think that the moral of the story is uplifting, and sends a realistic message to kids: we need to accept what we have, big butt, or whatever the case may be, and make the most out of our circumstances and live life!...a very positive moral...and of course I like the buzz buzz buzz...

a great choice!
