Sarah Morgan pulls you into a very believable world. All her characters are well developed and her storyline flows flawlessly to a romantic, believable ending. I found her writing very difficult to put down.

I hadn't read any of Sarah Morgan's books before the first one of this series but fell in love with her characters. Also I love how she weaves all the wonderful cats and dogs into her story lines.

Holiday in the Hamptons is a second chance at love between a couple who have been divorced for ten years. This fifth installment in Sarah Morganâs From Manhattan with Love series is the second novel featuring the Knight siblings.

In an effort to avoid running into her ex-husband, veterinarian Seth Carlyle, professional dog walker Felicity âFlissâ Knight quickly seizes the chance to go to the Hamptons to help her grandmother. Despite their marriage only lasting a few short, scorching hot months, Fliss has never really gotten over her first love. Unfortunately, she runs into Seth as soon as she arrives in the Hamptons and she impulsively goes to somewhat ridiculous lengths to try to avoid him. Scarred from her verbally abusive father, Fliss is emotionally closed off and her fatherâs criticism and negative remarks continue to affect her. Despite her feisty and colorful personality, Fliss is a difficult character to like due to her unwillingness to let anyone close to her. Seth realizes his feelings for Fliss have not lessened over the years and he hopes if they can discuss what went wrong in the past they can start over again.

Good Romantic Suspense

After a terrible event, Etta relocates to escape her past and start anew. Overcoming her fear, she finds the courage to fall in love. Unfortunately the past once again rears its ugly head - this time with possibly deadly consequences. Will Etta find the happiness that she deserves with Tom?

Romance, suspense and sprinkles of humor made Henrietta a very enjoyable listening experience. Tom's patience and sensitivity allowed Etta to again trust a man and I loved the Donato family dynamics. Etta showed that family was also important to her and exhibited calm and bravery in the face of danger. There was depth to the main characters that made them realistic and relatable. The narrator was engaging and added to my enjoyment of the story. I would recommend Henrietta: The House of Donato Series, Book 1.

Great!

This is the first book I have listened to by this author and it won't be the last! A well thought out romance with a touch of suspense - I loved the character development in this one! These characters seemed so real and relate-able and I enjoyed their romance. The narration was perfect for this story! I can't wait to check out more by this author and narrator!

Emotions so strong, they were practically seeping off the pages!

Avaâs life was changed forever that one night, three years ago. And Malcolm still harbors guilt over his decision to put her in a taxi following an argument. A taxi that was involved in a crash that left pregnant Ava with a traumatic brain injury, short-term memory loss, and Malcolm having to raise their child alone.

Per the request of the doctors, Malcolm has kept out of Avaâs life to allow her to heal. But as his patience wears thin and their son expresses his desire to have his mother, Colmâs ability to give her space becomes harder. Heâs determined to get back the woman he loves, and put the family back together, even if that means doing it with some added force.

This was a short story, but definitely big on content. You couldnât help but feel for everyone involved. The pain Ava went through, both physically and emotionally, was palpable. Malcolmâs guilt was all-consuming and the emotions were seeping off the pages. The way the author tells the story, you canât help but get pulled into the drama and emotions that they were all going through.

This is it, finally! Trish & Boone's story. I have been waiting for this one and let me tell you it was worth the wait and did not disappoint at all. These characters have so much depth that they easily pull you into their story so you immediately become emotional invested in both of their lives and their families. They have some crazy hot chemistry that you can actually feel from their very first confrontation in Booneâs trailer when Trish walks in on him (did I say he was naked?). Trish thinks he is the womanizing partier the press makes him out to be. She finds out though that he is nothing at all like his reputation and the reasons he has that reputation. Trish is a beautiful, strong, devoted, talented, loyal independent woman. She is very close to her family. She is an actress filming a movie where she is playing the role of the heroine-addicted girlfriend of a rock star. She has her eyes on an Oscar. Perfect Hometown Story with Some Heat You Won't Forget!!!

Tessa Bailey quickly became one of my favorite authors when I was introduced to her books about two years ago. I have thoroughly enjoyed every single book of hers that I read. But I have to be honest and say that this novella is probably by far my favorite from her.

Too Close To Call is part of the 1,001 Dark Nights stories and her book features Kyler, whom we met in the third book of Tessa' Romancing the Clarksons series. He's a sweet, good ol' country boy with a huge future in football. But none of that matters without his high school sweetheart, Bree; the high school sweetheart who broke his heart when she ended things right as he went away for college.

Tessa wrote these characters perfectly. Their mannerisms, the way they talk, how they interact with in their hometown, it just makes the story all the more real. I could so easily picture everything as if I was watching this book play out before. That's what helped me love this book all the more. When I met Kyler in Too Hard To Forget, I was praying that he would get some sort of story. And Tessa melted my heart with this book.

Kyler and Bree's story is one that know has happened before in real life. It's real, raw and natural and everything played out beautifully. I love these two characters - they are strong individually but together, they are force to be reckoned with. Oh and don't let me sweet and saccharine review fool you - these two get pretty damn hot and heavy. And Kyler shocked me with his naughty mouth.

Too Close To Call is that sweet, hometown story that you want to get lost in. You will find yourself routing for their HEA and feeling a little hot too when these stop holding back.

I love a good second chance romance and boy

Too Close To Call is part of Tessa Bailey's Romancing the Clarksons series as well as the 10th novella in the 2017 1,001 Dark Nights lineup and holy moly, I can't even tell you how much I lover Kyler and Bree's story.

First, I've gotta start this review with a confession: I totally embarrassed myself on an airplane while reading this book. True story. But I'll get to that in a minute...

So we met Kyler briefly in a previous book and I knew there was something special about this guy and I knew when Tessa said she was writing him in this novella it was going to be damn special. Well, it was. All that and a bag of chips kind of special.

Made for Hallmark

I think it would make a better Hallmark movie than a book. Not a horrible book but I wouldn't recommend it unless a person was looking for cheesy romance.

Love story for the ages!

Absolutely loved it! I've been following the Shaughnessy family from book one. I read Aiden story in one sitting (paperback) I was hooked from the beginning I enjoyed each one. this Audio version was repeating sentences in some chapters. I can relate to this book on many levels. I actually teared up at the end. I don't know how Samantha does it but each book is like more interesting than the previous one. It would be nice to see this one as a movie. Keep them coming Samantha don't stop with Darcy!

Loved It!

I enjoyed listening to Resuscitate Me so much that I actually finished it in one day! The duet narration is seemless and Tor Thom and Charley Ongel were AMAZING narrators.

Amazing voices, good story

Beautiful story and perfect narration. Tor Thom is definitely one of my favorite narrators. Charley Ongel also has a very beautiful voice. It was my first book duet and it will not be the last! I had a great time listening to this book. I would not hesitate to buy other books from this author and I will definitely buy other audiobooks from these two narrators.

The narrators are both amazing and working so well together. The emotions in their voices are PERFECT. The tempo is perfect. Everything about this audiobook is perfect.

Amazing Story!

I had never heard of Leddy Harper. I know, I should have, but as far as I can tell, this is her first audio release. What a way to be introduced! This is one of those books that you just want to leave your earbuds on and see what is going to happen. Carter, a professional model and gym owner is the stubborn, alpha male. Kara is helping her sister-in-law out for the summer and meets Carter at his gym. And the sparks are flying. These two together are combustible. Not only does the couple have chemistry, but the story line is well developed and believable. Carter is afraid to love, but with Kara's love and confidence they are able to work through the worst of times. You will also love the support characters, especially Kara's mom, and little Logan. At times they steal the show.

Narrating team Charley Ongel and Tor Thom perform the duet narration of this female POV story. Charley emotes the entire story so well that you feel the angst and happiness that Kara is going through. Tor Thom as always gives an incredible alpha male narration, giving Carter not only his domineering personality, but tenderness and caring. Listening to this book is a pleasure.

Did Barbara Cartland write this?

Is it me or have other Barbara Cartland fans suspected an alien hand behind many of her latest books? Having been a fan of hers for many years I know her style and choice of words and phrases as well as I know my own. This book was enoyable except for several jarring words that Miss Cartland never used. Several of her main characters were said to 'chortle'. This verb is usally confined to characters of dubious breeding and taste, the sort to indulge in the more stupid kind of practicle jokes.

I live in Alaska, and we're used to authors getting it dead wrong about the 49th state. But Naigle did a great job on the details (in her acknowledgements she mentioned a 2 week trip to AK) - the weather, roads, closed storefronts, tourists, all of it. The only thing that was wrong was the 4-to-1 men to women ratio, but even that wasn't the ridiculous 15-to-1 authors usually use, and we may actually have a few villages with that high a ratio.

As for the rest of the book, it's a typical sweet romance. If hot and steamy is your thing, you're out of luck, however. There are no descriptive sex scenes at all. Heat meter: 1

The plot moved a little too slow for my taste, but it was a good story. I found the scenes about the glass blowing super interesting.

A sweet contemporary romance.

A while back, I read Every Yesterday (Boot Creek, #2). It was my first book by Nancy Naigle, and while I liked her writing, I had a hard time connecting with the characters. I was excited to get a chance to read another book in this series.

In Until Tomorrow, Flynn is done with dating men who use her. She's going to take a break from men and work on getting her bed and breakfast back up and running. Flynn's able to do just that until Ford comes strolling back into town. Flynn met Ford at her best friend Angie's wedding, and sparks flew between the two of them. Flynn never imagined anything could ever happen between them since Ford lives in Alaska. The more time Flynn spends with Ford, the more she wants more with him. But is Flynn willing to give up her bed and breakfast dreams to move to Alaska?

Until Tomorrow was a fun read. It's exactly the kind of adult contemporary romance I like. It was fast-paced, cute, and the characters' chemistry was strong. I immediately felt connected to Flynn and Ford. Their story was definitely instant lust and a little bit instant love, but it was also had a slow burn feel. I liked that Flynn and Ford's relationship was built on what started between them in the previous novel. It made their romance easier to rationalize. (Not that you would have to read the previous novel to read this one.

Another absolute amazing book. Reading this book takes you on Lex and Thea's journey of joy, heartbreak and healing. It's nice at getting a sneak peek in to their lives, feelings, and drama and I loved every moment of the ride!

Rogue In Love ended up as one of my favorite romances from Inger Iversen. It was a quick read with steamy romance and the main characters, Thea and Lex quickly wormed their way into my heart. The history between them made their relationship all the more intense when they reconnected. I also liked how there wasn't any unnessecary drama in the story like I see too much of in contemporary romances. The author's books tend to be real page-turners and Rogue In Love didn't disappoint in that aspect.One of the best things in the book was Teal and especially Trent (from Inevitable: Love & War) showing up. It was so great to read about them, even if their appearance was a short one. I love them. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Rogue In Love by Inger Iversen. The two main characters were perfect together. I loved reading about them. And with Lex I have a new book boyfriend to add to the list. Fans of second-chance romances will devour this story!
