Summer Lovin.....

.... met a girl crazy for me.... met a boy cute as could be....

Filthy was funny, cute and had some steamy romance. There's a HEA, no cliffhanger, and could easily be read as a stand alone. What I enjoyed most, was all the sexy, witty banter between Delilah and Zane and how he would get under her skin.

Some Spoilers:

Zane's a confident, sexy, dirty talking "baller" who's been sent to a retirement community in FL to clean up his act. His lifestyle and total disregard for the Laguna Palm's Home Owner's Association isn't winning him any points with the present of the HOA, who happens to be Delilah's great aunt, Rue. Delilah's more of an uptight college student who's staying with her great aunt during the summer. She's been warned about Zane's "personal mission to live a life of hedonistic defiance." When she first arrives in Laguna Palms, all she wants is a good night sleep but Zane, her great aunt's next door neighbor, is throwing a party. In an attempt to get the party noise down to an acceptable level, she goes over to Zane's (a very sexy Zane) asking for the party to be taken inside. He tells Delilah he won't do it and she's too young to be the fun police. She leaves slamming the door and this is the first of their love/hate relationship. Zane can't resist riling Delilah, and each encounter turns into sexual tension. When they finally give into their desires, they have some amazing sex and decide to make it a summer fling.

The narration was great! I enjoyed both Roger Wayne's and Lidia Dornet's performances. Dornet really did an awesome job with characters, especially Delilah's great aunt.

While Filthy wasn't as intense as other romances I listen too, it was still a good story, and the banter was both funny and sexy. It's worth a credit.

Spanking hot with humor!

This is Delilah Rosewood's story. Zane is the professional football player on house arrest in a retirement community. Delilah is helping her aunt pack up her home for selling purposes. She is a good girl, obeying all the rules. He is the complete opposite. They have a hate-relationship until they can't stop their attraction for one another.

Just didn't work for me....

I won a copy of this book a year ago in a giveaway and, because it is holiday themed, had hoped to squeeze it in before Christmas. That didn't happen, so I made a point of reading it in time for the holidays this year. But, did it get me into the holiday mood? Sadly, no.

This is a novel that takes place over one day. I've read books that have been successful with this, but they are the exception to the rule. In the case of this book, it left me feeling just plain exhausted, instead of hopeful or maybe festive--which is what I think the intended reaction were. While I think the time frame played a big part in this, the large cast of characters didn't help. I was constantly thrown from one character to the next and from story line to story line.

To make matters worse, none of the characters are at all interesting. The one who did stick out to me was Sophie, and she was so horribly cliche that she left a bad taste in her mouth. Two characters--Mark and Nathan--were so bland that I couldn't tell them apart. Every time we came to their stories, I had to take a minute and try to remember who was who.

I didn't realize until after I finished this novel that there was an earlier book. This surprised me because this didn't really feel like a second-in-a-series novel and, moreover, I can't imagine how an earlier novel would be interesting. These are not fleshed out characters and I had no interest in any backstory that an earlier novel would provide.

I have a suspicion that Dunn was trying to recreate the feel of a British rom-com, such as Love Actually, with this novel. I can't say he was entirely unsuccessful. It did feel like a rather bad British rom-com, so I guess there is some level of accomplishment there. That doesn't change the fact that I did not find it an enjoyable read.

I wish this had been a more successful book for me, but there were just too many things working against it. If it had been stronger in just one area--character, plot, or even just pacing--it might have made the difference...but that was not the case.

A predictable and easy read, great for passing the time

This wasn't an exciting read, I'm sad to say.

A fun, entertaining and super-sexy read.

I loved Good Girl VS. Bad Boy which was an original release by Jessie Evans. Now her erotic alter ego, Lili Valente, has taken the story in hand giving us The Bad Boy's Temptation turning up the heat and making me love it even more, and I didn't believe that was even possible.

Colton has spent his life preparing for and becoming a Marine. It's all he wants to be and all he knows. But after being discharged due to a serious injury, he returns to his home town to heal and takes a job as a firefighter. But his focus remains on proving he can return to serving his country leaving him no interest or time for relationships or affairs of the heart. Olivia has been crushing on her best friend's big brother for as long as she can remember. When she is unexpectedly rescued by him, falling straight into his arms, all the old emotions begin to resurface. Only now she is a grown woman lying in his strong, sexy arms. Despite his realization that the gorgeous woman he just saved is his little sisterâs best friend, he begins to feel a stirring of attraction as well as a connection with her which he has never felt before. In spite of the fires igniting between them, they both agree a "lovey-dovey" relationship isn't what they are looking for. Will Declan And Charlotte Find Love Again?

I was given this as an ARC and this is my opinion. Once again Ms. Ryan has given us a great story that is starting off with some questions about Declan and Charlotte. The story goes back and forth between today and ten years ago. Delcan and Charlotte were together ten years ago but something happened to tear them apart. Neither on of them has forgotten the other. Fate has them both coming back to Charleston after long years. Neither one knows the other is there yet but they will soon find that out. This story has been set up so good I am already dying to know what happened to pull them apart and is there a chance they can connect again. I love Ms. Ryan's writing. All her characters are someone I feel like I would know and like to be around. It looks like I'm in for a treat of another one of her fantastic stories. BOOK 2 PLEASE!

Wonderful!

Just what I wanted for Christmas - a trip to Sapphire Falls!

Granted, if Santa had fully fulfilled my Christmas list, it would have been about Hailey & Ty... or Tucker and whoever. Cuz I have a major crush on Tucker and I'm super curious about Hailey getting her HEA.

But, no real complaints because this novella was wonderful. First of all, I feel hesitant calling it a novella, because it's definitely a full story and way longer than what I usually think of as a novella. Levi is Joe's brother and just as delicious, charming and earnest as Joe. Kate is sweet, smart, and completely independent, but also needs something out of life that she's missing. One case of mistaken identities (which is handled SO well and believably!) and suddenly Levi is helping her find that thing that she's missing and she's showing Levi that he's not the cold, black soul that he thinks he is.

It's poor-little-rich-boy meets poor-little-rich-girl in Sapphire Falls, and they find out what having a normal Christmas with love and warmth and Christmas spirit all around is like. This isn't just a romance book, it's a heart-warming, giggle-inducing, happy dance Christmas story that makes me want to run home, grab my hubby and find a fire place to cuddle in front of while we play with some candy canes (since this book gave me some really fantastic ideas...). It's sexy, it's sweet, and I honestly can't say enough good things about it.

A SYMPHONY OF SUSPENSE, DANGER, LUST & LOVE

Every time Cillian O'Malley walks into the Bar where Olivia works he feels drawn to her... but every time he tries to have a conversation with her she's snappy, argumentative and downright hostile to him. He likes the banter that builds up between them and just can't stay away... it's the only thing that stops his guilt and memories over his brother's shooting, how it was all his fault and how it should've been him. Olivia knows all about mob rules, gang culture and the secretive dangerous and violent world that Cillian O'Malley belongs to.... because she'd run away from it, is now hiding from it... and her Russian family that went with it.

No, I don't think so. I believe the author completed their story and this series perfectly.

This was an enjoyable read. It was quite a ride that these two characters went on. It was fun, sexy and emotional. I definitely recommend this book, this series and this author.

Had high hopes and was disappointed

I wanted so much more from this book. I loved the other two books and this one came up short. I was also, not a fan of the Rachel Mazz's narration.

Get the first 2. Not this one!

The first 2 books were so good. This one was horrible! Both narrators are terrible. I'm getting a refund.

Two main characters aren't likable

With the other books in this series we get to know the true heart of the characters and we're rooting for them . All this story does is show two characters that aren't likable and have no depth ... They just misunderstand each other , get jealous and have hardcore sex. The misunderstanding at the end is ridiculous! Why would Victor give up everything just to clear his conscious? That was quite a stretch. The biggest issue I had was the guy in the audiobooks voice did not fit the character. It seemed like he was a different person from when the girl was speaking in his male voice .

Bella Jewel books

The main problem I have with Bellas books is that the female characters always bend to the men. There is no way I personally would put up with how they talk to their women so I guess I have a problem with that in the books. Especially when the men are being alpha jerks.

That being said, I have enjoyed the character and story development and how this series combined with the Jokers Wrath series. Its an enjoyable read.

WOW!!!

5 stars all around seriously! This story was very intense and grabbed you by your heartstrings wouldn't let go. Once I started reading the story carried me along with it I couldn't stop. The love between Danny and Skye is so hot and always meant to be. I found myself wanting to cry and laugh. Please read this story and the entire series you won't be disappointed!

Frustrating

This whole story will frustrate you beyond belief. The female lead is whiny and selfish. The male lead is so open about his feelings, which is great. Except he won't actually fight for her. If I loved someone so much it hurt to breathe without them I would at least make a committed effort to do more than just have one big talk. I'd let my actions speak. He knew she was scared. Instead of stepping up and SHOWING her he was the man for the job he just gave up on her. I'm so glad Lucas showed that to her. Well, he tried anyways. It turned into such an unnecessary cluster of drama. It was like an episode of General Hospital Jason, Sam, and Liz baby drama edition. However, I was happy with the ending. I do think there are some loose strings to be tied up though.

Two fools in love

Sweet but annoying as hell. The plot was drug out too long for my liking. I'm just glad it's over!

I felt like this group of stories never came to a conclusion. They all are connected to the same store, there was a fire in said store in most of the stories, one character mysteriously leaves in all of the stories...... and the reader is left hanging.
