Not your typical cowboy romance!
I thought I was going into a Cowboy Romance and was surprised that this book had a twist of the abnormal kind. I enjoyed the story line but that twist didn't really fit in to the story. It wasn't really explained well. I also enjoyed the characters but this book was average to me. I do not mean that as a bad thing, I just mean that nothing really stood out to make this book better than all the others just like it. Kind of a cozy read. I will continue with the series.
The best part of this audiobook was the narration. His voice fit perfect for this story.
Southern Comfort
What made the experience of listening to Southern Comfort the most enjoyable?
I loved the story, the characters, the fun and the romance as the two come together. It was great to see an older couple find the happily ever after, from their past unsettled lives. A very sweet love story.

Cody, hope that's how you spell her name, she was funny and her conversations very entertaining
Have you listened to any of J. Scott Bennetts other performances before? How does this one compare?
No I have not, this was my first audiobook with J.Scott and I loved it, very talented man. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the books in the series.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, Annie comfirmed what she always thought about her husband as right. Not giving anymore info as I don't want to spoil it for others
