Surrender might seem counterintuitive on the road to freedom, yet it's exactly what unlocked true transformation for us. This intimate conversation explores the powerful shift that happens when we finally stop trying to control everything around us.

"I wanted to control every aspect of my life, and probably yours as well," we candidly admit, reflecting on how exhausting this pattern becomes. The breakthrough? Realizing "we have no control over people, places and things," and that life flows with remarkable ease once we release our grip on outcomes.

Our spiritual journeys took vastly different paths—one through traditional prayer practices, another through nature connection and what's affectionately called "hippie stuff." These divergent routes ultimately led to the same profound revelation: something greater than ourselves exists, and surrendering to this force brings unexpected peace. We share vulnerable stories, including a mysterious woodpecker encounter that arrived precisely when needed, serving as a spiritual guide through difficult moments.
