How Pride is competitive in nature and gets no joy in having something, only having more than someone else. I discuss where I have struggled and continue to struggle with certain aspects of pride. The difference between letting others motivate me to accomplish things, and my motive for accomplishing something to be better than them and the devastating effects of deriving you’re worth through looks, money, and power. How pride continues to manifest in my life and the tools I use to center myself and focus on where I derive my worth, which removes the element of competition.  The tricky process of not defining success as the world defines it. And lastly, how my faith centers me not to fear what man can do, not to worry about being judged, and how I have and am continuing to find peace.

  • Episode 16: How Healing My Gut Healed My Mind

    In this episode I talk about a 5 year process where I spent over $100,000 Trying to figure out and heal my body. I dealt with 20 years of Chronic constipation, numerous food intolerances, severely over and under weight, auto-immune allergic reactions, severe malnutrition, and other things. Through this I discovered that as my body healed, my focus improved and my anxiety and depression decreased dramatically. I discuss the gut-brain connection, how unresolved trauma exacerbates and sometimes causes physical ailments, and the methods I used to heal. Also how I went from 230 lbs. to 170 lbs. and have maintained it for 6 years. I believe to fully heal we have to incorporate mind, body, and spirit.
