Codependency can be defined as the chronic neglect of self in order to gain love, validation, or acceptance from another person. I believe it is by far the most common, least understood, and most detrimental behavior to any type of relationship. If you struggle with asking for help, can’t stand feeling like an inconvenience, constantly apologize, people please, wonder why you tend to attract the same people when dating, and have a hard time staying attracted to people who have great qualities, this episodes for you! I also discuss how to detect people who will manipulate your kindness by playing a victim so you’ll fall for them. It took me years of hard core therapy to get this under control.
