Moving Conversations

Getting BACK into Action; Mobility

Listen Later

With low back pain the first step is to create awareness of where the low back is and what position is most comfortable. The next step is to teach stability in the preferred position to support a pain free (or less painful) position in everyday life. Once stability and awareness are in place, assessing and training mobility of the spine, pelvis and hips is essential to integrate the low back into functional movement. In this episode, Brian and Nora discuss mobility strategies and exercises for low back pain.
