Dr. Markeyta L. Sconiers is a professional singer, professor, minister, and advocate for Black people especially youth. The trauma she experienced in her life has manifested into the KEY (Knowledge Empowers Youth) Program. This youth intervention restorative practices program was birthed out of Markeyta's doctoral research and is housed at New Community Outreach, a nonprofit organization where she was the founding Executive Director. Markeyta lives her life with no regrets and is excited about all she will do next.

Adrienne is a Family F.I.T.ness Instructor and Wellness Educator specializing in Children and Family F.I.T.ness (Faith-filled, Intentional Transformation). She has over 15 years of experience facilitating interactive workshops and trainings for small and large groups of all ages in higher education, corporate training and ministry. What does the word NO mean to you? For some people it is a word filled with fear and doubt. NO is the word people tend to use in destructive and unloving ways. What do I mean??? Saying NO to things that are good for you, and will help you to grow and live better, but fearful of actually believing in yourself and the process to actually say YES. Saying NO to things that are not good for you, because you are fearful of hurting someone's feelings or looking selfish.

Are you done with saying YES to please everyone else, and ready to say NO because you know it is what is right and will feel good for you? This episode is diving into the word NO, and absolutely some of you will be triggered...that's when you know the message is really for you!
