However for some, the decision to settle in Ghana has turned sour and have gone back to their countries of origin.

This week's edition of Ghana in Focus looks at the effects of Ghana entering into certain conditionality's in order to get a miserly US$3 Billion from the IMF.

We start by asserting that this money is NOT the solution to Ghana's long term financial predicament.

We also re emphasis why Ghana DOES NOT NEED this paltry bailout and indeed it is an insult and an aberration that Ghana has sought to seek this.

We expose the hypocrisy AND LIES of the Finance Minister who vehemently touted that Ghana 'would never go to the IMF'

We analyse the approach the government of Ghana has taken when dealing with both the IMF and its main external creditor China, allowing itself to accept very dubious conditions.

We explain some of the dire consequences of these conditions in particular the raid on the working Ghanaians' pension funds and the potential collapse of the banking and cocoa sectors.

In addition to this as far as the negotiations with China is concerned we speculate on what potentially lies ahead if Ghana is not able to come to an amicable conclusion with China, including losing major assets to China including the Tema Oil Refinery and one of the country's major banks.

We urge Ghanaians to rise up against this wicked debt restructuring programme that will have a profound effect on the country both economically and socially.

We conclude by stating the impending board level agreement with the IMF is not in the country's national interest and jeopardises its sovereignty.

This week's edition of Afrika in Focus is a special examining the legacy of Dr Martin Luther King Jnr who was assassinated 55 years ago on April 4 1968 and asking the question whether Africans in America have lived a dream or a nightmare.
We start by stating that contrary to what has been said Dr King was murdered by the US government and NOT the scapegoat, James Earl Ray.

We state how the constitution of the United States classifies Africans in America as 3/5 of a human being and that despite Africans building America to make the United States the country it is today, America WAS NOT BUILT for Afrikan people.
We also tell of how King was under constant surveillance by the dangerous Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) led by arch anti Black racist, J Edgar Hoover.

We explain some of the reasons why King was murdered by the state including his stance on Black Economic Empowerment.

We then give the reasons why contrary to what many perceive, Africans in America have lived a constant NIGHTMARE including police killings, high unemployment, homicide rates and high incarceration.

We pour scorn on the so called success stories of the likes of Oprah, Jay Z, LeBron James and Barack Obama by citing the Black Secret Society called The Boule.

We conclude that the ideals Martin Luther King Jr had about the integration of Afrikan people into wider White American society that has NEVER accepted them, never materialised and that Afrikans in America have lived the American Nightmare!!
