  • Afrika in Focus: Australia Day, Why Australia is AN Apartheid state.

    Send us Fan Mail

This week's edition of Afrika  in Focus highlights Australia as the country celebrates 'Australia day'.

We first give an historical overview of Australia and state that Australia is a Afrikan/Black country. We highlight the original people of Australia, the 'Aboriginal' people have lived in Australia for more than 60,000 years.

We  state how before the coming of the British/European, The Aboriginal people had a culture, tradition and a set of principles and guidelines under their Dreaming value system.

We then chart the beginning of the destruction of the Aboriginal people when the first British and we have to call them terrorists land in Botany Bay in 1788.

We state that how through a deliberate policy of genocide and extermination in an attempt to wipe out the Aboriginal people , a population of about 3 million before 1788 was reduced to about 500,000 in  1901 when Australia became the federated country it is today.

We also state how The British had a deliberate policy of 'whitening' Australia by having an  open door immigration policy to allow Europeans / white  people to 'settle' in Australia.

We then raise the stark inequalities and systemic oppression the Aboriginal people in Australia, their own country, suffer from.

We end by stating that Australia IS AN Apartheid STATE!!

  • Afrika in Focus: The Israeli - Hamas war , Why not an Afrikan issue.

    Send us Fan Mail

This week's edition of Afrika in Focus analyses the war in the so called Middle East.

We give an Afrikan perpective on this conflict and insist this is not an Afrikan concern.

We begin by highlighting the FACT that those who are fighting in that area of land are NOT indigenous to the so called Middle East.

We chronicle the history of the area and highlight the origin of the Israeli / Palestine conflict began with British rule in what was called Palestine and the issuance of the Balfour declaration.

We then turn our focus to the disturbing notion of what seems like the global Afrikan community supporting  the Palestinian cause.

We explain why this support is ill judged and ill informed highlighting the vile anti Afrikan racism in Palestine itself against Afrikan Palestinians.

We also highlight the wider anti Afrikan racism in the so called Arab world and point out why Afrikans should not be blindly supporting Arabs given this history of anti Afrikan racism.

We end by stating the Afrikan concern should be for the wider global Afrikan community such as police brutality against Afrikans in the United States and Brazil, communal violence in Jamaica and the big one being the slaughter and genocide taken place in DR Congo.

  • Ghana in Focus: Dating / Relationships in Ghana: Part III

    Send us Fan Mail

This week's episode of Ghana in Focus ends our series for now looking at dating / relationships in Ghana.

This week we focus on Ghanaian men and the things ladies / sisters from the diaspora need to watch out for.

Since the year of return on 2019 tens of thousands of Afrikan women from the diaspora have come to Ghana to relocate do business  and to find love.

We start by warning our sisters from the diaspora that you are targets for some unscrupulous Ghanaian / Afrikan men because of the perception of what you stand for .  Again we highlight that lighter skin Afrikan / Black men are  sought after by Ghanaian men.

We urge sisters to be mindful that some men may target you not necessarily for love but what they can get from you and what they think you are such as a meal ticket or a chance to go to the West.

We also advise sisters on some of the behavioural traits of some Ghanaian men such as bad time keeping (Ghana Man Time GMT), being very deceitful and also lying about the fact they may have  a girl on the side-lines who they might refer to as my sister.

We urge sisters to tread very carefully when dating in Ghana,
