Today May 25 is Afrika Day, a day where we as Afrikan people worldwide honour the massive sacrifices made by our ancestors and to remind ourselves that a lot more needs to be done in order to attain true freedom and justice from the yoke of White terrorism which is a global reality that affects us all from the mass incarceration of Afrikan people in Brazil, through to Police harassment in countries like the UK, France, The Netherlands, Canada, through to the terrible and appalling White terrorist incident at Buffalo, New York State, through to vicious anti Afrikan/Black racism in India (The Dalits), in the UK, in Australia especially the so called Aboriginal people through to the global injustices suffered by Afrikan people especially on the continent of Afrika caused by failed Western geo economic and politics which manifests itself in mass unemployment, capital flight, avoiding taxes (by multi national companies)  poor health care systems, colonial education systems and not being allowed to trade fairly on the global stage.

This episode of Ghana in Focus looks at the monumental role Ghana's Dr Kwame Nkrumah and Ethiopia's His Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I played in the formation of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) today's African Union and share excerpts of the iconic speech Nkrumah gave on May 25 1963 urging Africa to unite by forging what he termed the United States of Africa.

We also give a take on the current position of Afrika given the stark reality that the current crop of Afrikan leaders are sellouts and no where near the revolutionary leaders of the formation of the OAU like Dr Kwame Nkrumah (Ghana) His Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I (Ethiopia)Kamuzu Banda (Malawi), Jomo Kenyatta (Kenya) Modibo Keita (Mali) Sekou Toure (Guinea) Gamel Abdel Nasser (Egypt) to name a few.

We end by emphasising that TRUE freedom for Afrika means being in total control of its resources , economy, systems of education, healthcare, what its people eat etc etc and how ALL Afrikan people globally must shed the petty labels and differences and work together for the common good of ALL Afrikan people regardless of place of birth, religion and 'tribe'.

In this week's episode of Ghana in focus we look at buying a property in Ghana specifically the capital Accra.

This week' s episode of Ghana in Focus is about the hot topic of the economy of Ghana which is in deep crisis with high inflation causing things like food to skyrocket, high interest rates rates and the worst performing African currency of 2022 so far.

We analyse why Ghana is in this economic mire, looking at issues like the importation of goods and service, lack of a manufacturing base, lack of royalties from key commodities like Gold and Oil, through to pinpointing why the local currency the cedi appears to be in constant freefall to the lack of investment in the country's agricultural base.

We end up with a list of solutions that if adopted would arrest the cedi, bring more revenue into government coffers, reducing the price of petrol at the pumps and hence reducing the price of goods and services and improving the agricultural base of the country.

Today is the 65th anniversary of Ghana's independence from British colonial rule when Ghana's first president Dr Kwame Nkrumah uttered these famous words, 'At long last the battle has ended and that Ghana your beloved country is free forever'

This special edition of  Ghana in Focus asks the question is Ghana really independent, using the  following definition of independence - free from outside control; not subject to another's authority, not depending on another for livelihood or subsistence, 

We then use the five key strands of Ghana's economy namely, The banking sector, the oil and gas sector, the retail sector, the mining sector and telecommunications sector to arrive at the stark conclusion that Ghana is NOT independent!!

How can Ghana be independent when it does not own, manage and control its economy and resources to the degree that Ghana only gets 3% royalty rate from Gold output.  This is diabolical as Ghana IS the world's biggest producer of Gold.

We also touch on the coronavirus vaccine to show  how much Ghana is NOT independent in that how it was coerced into accepting vaccines from in the main Western countries rather than being self reliant and producing its own in house vaccine.

The war between Russia and Ukraine along with massive help from the West is a European tribal war that has got nothing at all to do with Ghanaian and African people -- however it is a situation that Ghana and Africa can exploit for their  mutual benefit if they were robustly organized.

We explain what lies behind the Russian 'invasion' of Ukraine and how it got to this stage where Russia sought it necessary to declare war on Ukraine.

We detail why this war has nothing to do with Ghana and Africa explaining that at the root of this conflict is European tribal geo politics , nationalism and a re alignment of the European tribal order.

We also strongly condemn the woeful leadership of the African Union for taking its eye off the ball and leaving in the main thousands of African students stranded in Ukraine at the mercy of anti African racist thugs.

We critically analyse some of the economic fallout from this war and how it can negatively impact on Ghana and Africa but more importantly and crucially how Ghana and Africa can exploit this European tribal war for their mutual benefit.

This week's edition is a part two of Ghana , Afrika and Vaccines.  In this episode we examine a crucial petition by a group called  Concerned Doctors Ghana that was sent to the President of Ghana asking for the mandatory vaccines for entry to Ghana to be scrapped and the national vaccine rollout to be paused.  

They cited data that highlighted the risks associated with the vaccine far outweigh any potential benefits.  They also ask the question that if countries like the UK and Israel who have high vaccinations rates are still getting high cases of infections prove the vaccines ineffectiveness .  

The Concerned Doctors Ghana end their petition by asserting that the global vaccine program has nothing to do with public health but all about making billions of dollars in profits - this is an assertion we delve into.  

We also delve in to a strand of thinking that states the vaccine DOES NOT work because according to data in the UK, the vast numbers of people being hospitalized with coronavirus are those that have been double jabbed and had the booster as well.

We conclude by giving a stark warning to the global Afrikan community NOT to take the vaccine if you have not already taken it as (a) it is an experimental vaccine in the sense that people who have taken it are being used as guinea pigs, (b) that the vaccine does NOT work given the FACTS in the paragraph above (c) there are serious unknown long term consequences of taking an experimental vaccine and (d) given he history of vaccines and medical experiments on Afrikan people like The Tuskegee experiment in Alabama USA , Project  Coast , South Africa, Lock hospitals , Australia and The Pfizer Kano Case in Northern Nigeria.
