I was taking a much needed mental break, but it's now time to get back into it. It's ok to take a pause and give yourself a breather, allowing yourself to come back into things fresh and energized.
Today is the day to give thanks and show love to the great dads in this world. Take today to love on your father, and also to learn more from your father.
During this hard times, I call on my brothers and sisters to come together and all fight for one cause. Black Lives Matter, and we must continue to scream this, shout this, and protest this. May god continue to uplift us, and continue to show the world that Black Lives Matter, and that we are the core to this world.
It's hard to hear about these altercations, and see a black man lose his life. I speak about my feelings, and being black in America, I raise the question of, "Is it Dangerous to be Black in America"?
It's a poem at the end, please listen to it, the poem is by
Memphis Poets, called black lives matterListening to today's podcast, you will get an understanding of mental health, and how therapy can help. I enlisted the help of my friends, who work in the mental health fields as therapist. Take a listen, and hopefully you will gain something from here.

One must be able to maintain consistent growth, and tools that they lean on to go through life or any situation. With consistency one must then challenge them to maintain that growth. With doing that one will then find discovery, discovering their limits, abilities and passions.
Is it acceptable to shoot or harm someone based on your fear or misperception of that person because of their race? I hope the answer is no. Unfortunately Doug Lewis and Ahmaud Aubrey were both judged in that manner, and in result lost their life. Fear and stereotyping should never determine, or be controlling factors in how we treat people, especially if your fear is self-inflicted. Understanding and respect is a huge and unfortunately rare commodity that we need between races and people in general. To be black in this country is to be harshly judged at times, which leads to these type of situations. before you act or choose to label, take time and think, ask the question, if a black person or other minority feared you like you say you fear them, would it be ok for them to take actions such as shooting you dead?
When constructing and understanding the legal system, I believe that one must have hope for better times. Hope that the racial, economical, gender, and many other disparities/differences play a role in the justice system. How we treat our less fortunate determines the complexities our justice, and what it means to our society.
Simple justice is exactly what is sounds like, utilizing and focusing on the simple facts of the court case. Not allowing crafted stories paint the picture in the court room, but instead focus on the clear facts, and keep it simple with their explanations.
I hope you hear this and take from it that you must see and believe in yourself, changing your mindset before you can change your action.
