Chapter 1: Sweat – Priory of Alanor, Green Finger Point

Hi, it’s Charles here, ready to share Chapter 1 of ‘The Priory’ by A.D. Meagher. In the 1st podcast you heard 3 threads that intertwine within the chapters that follow, eventually culminating in the crescendo that is The Priory. In podcast #2 you will not only meet the central character, an Aspirant by the name of Nolson and his good friend Josua, but also some of the occasional undesirable characters, as you get to better understand the goings on within ‘The Priory of Alanor’!

To provide the Author with feedback or to find out what happens over the next 500 pages, please contact Ant direct at [email protected] who will, if requested, mail you your very own signed copy of ‘The Priory’, for the very affordable price of $29.95 plus postage.

I can assure you that Nolson, Josua and the many characters you’ll meet along the way, will keep you enthralled with what happens next! They certainly did with me! ENJOY!

‘Welcome’ to your introduction to a medieval fantasy series created by A.D. Meagher. In essence an entrée into the macabre and mysterious goings-on in, among and below the Priory of Alanor. My name is Charles Hill, your podcast narrator, and along the way I will introduce you to a selection of colourful characters and even more colourful events. 'The Priory' is the first book in A.D. Meagher's 'The Skulls Saga'. To assist you in visualising the geography and the setting relating to 'The Priory', illustrations can be viewed by clicking on the left-hand ‘Pages’ sidebar links on this webpage, including a comprehensive 'Glossary of Terms'.

In Part 3, you will hear how events accelerated from May 2011 to July 2011, spiralling out of control, as did my mental health well-being, to the point of having a Breakdown, at which point I was driven to take actions that would rid the business of this dreadful period of workplace toxicity.

This is the 2nd part of a 3-part series of events which relate to incidents of toxicity that occurred at my workplace during 2010 and 2011.

'Ten Years On - a memoir of workplace toxicity' is my own story based on events that occurred at my then place of work over 2010 and 2011.

Heartfelt experiences from the ‘Carer’ of a partner struggling with the complex challenges associated a mental health illness. It is a true story, yet to be resolved, far from it.

Charles, founder of The GHFC, shares his story with anxiety and depression, eventually leading to him setting up The GHFC.

Chris French shares his experience overcoming serious head trauma, in turn reinventing himself.

In this episode GHFC Ambassador, Ant, reflects on his experiences of increased awareness and reduced stigma when coping with his own mental health well being.
