A campaign for Suicide Awareness Month is asking the public to think twice before posting on social media following a sudden death. The Suicide Prevention Alliance and Public Health Gibraltar want people to consider the impact their posts might have.

National Day has grown into one of the biggest events on Gibraltar's calendar, but how did it all begin? Founder member of the Self-Determination for Gibraltar Group, Dennis Matthews, will take us back to the early days of the event, more than 30 years ago. The group's Chair Richard Buttigieg will also join alongside GBC News Editor Christine Vasquez.

Action for Housing has welcomed the allocation of 44 pensioners flats at the newly opened Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Mews but also expressed some concerns. Henry Pinna, Zohra El Gharbaoui, and Alfred Porro will be in the studio explaining their concerns over the recent allocation of pensioner flats.

It's National Week, and we asked what the youngest in the community think about National Day.

An international conference of the Association of Latin American and Caribbean Historians is taking place this week. Local historian Richard Garcia told us more about the event.

The Gibraltar Music Festival is back on the Rock, with James Morrison headlining last night’s opening show of Summer Sessions. We’ll be looking ahead to this evening’s acts as we head into day two of the three-day festival. We'll even be treated to some live music by Savannah Lauryn who forms part of the local lineup. 

Day Three of the Calpe Conference is underway at the University of Gibraltar. We’ll be going live to Neanderthal: The Conference to hear from some of the world’s leading experts on human evolution.

With plenty of entertainment planned in the run-up to National Day, we’ll look ahead to Gibraltar’s National Week celebrations with Giovi Viñales.

It’s Day Two of the Calpe Conference, bringing together leading experts on human evolution and Neanderthals. The Newsroom's Ros Astengo joined us live from the University of Gibraltar with the latest.

A new GBC television programme follows the journeys of the first two people to receive cochlear implants here in Gibraltar. We’ll be joined by GBC director and producer Colin Pons, and ENT surgeon Mr Julian Danino, to hear more about Return to Sound: A Medical Milestone.

Life coach Jo Ferbrache has been working with GBC staff on practical ways to manage pressure and perform more effectively. Jo is now on the Rock for the GMF Summer Sessions. 

And, the Nautilus Project has launched a new range of T-shirts featuring local marine life, including a whale shark sighted in nearby waters earlier this year. Eva Guillem and George Burns will tell us more.
