What is a bible study? How do you teach one? What if I don't know that much? These are relevant questions. A bible study teaches someone how the bible came about and the plan that God has for your life. God will help you teach it. That's ok, you can learn as you teach. God wants people to know about Him and he wants his people to reach out to others.

The power of a song.

There is healing and restoration that can take place when we sing.... Imagine what can happen when we sing a song unto the Lord! Prison doors open, Chains become loosed. God puts a song on our hearts, its up to us to have the courage to let it out.

Paul writes to the church to tell them who Christ is, and to keep his preeminence in all things and places. Today just as when Jesus walked on the earth, when it is made known who He is, it is not well received. Regardless we must keep Him first in all areas of our lives unto the end.

In the Bible, perspective means looking at life through God's eyes instead of just human eyes. It is the spiritual lens that shapes how you see trouble, time, and truth. Having a biblical perspective means trusting God's wisdom even when life makes no sense.

When you are looking at purchasing something like life insurance, a home, a car or even looking into a church or career you go through steps. You start with a thought about it, then may look into it, then start acting on it. It is not until we complete the action of whatever it is we seek that we are fully persuaded. We need to be fully persuaded in Christ that he is for us and not against us. And to be fully persuaded to live for Him.

God will call us to do his will for the world. He needs us to save the lost sinners of this world. we need to be willing for him to call us to help save the lost.

Paul was reaching out to the Church of Colosse. They had a problem about knowing Jesus, and not putting Jesus on the throne. They had false teachings going through their church. We need to put Jesus on the throne where He belongs and we need to believe in truth.

A Calling based ministry. This is one of the final ways that God calls people to work for Him. Generally a calling based ministry is something that someone is good at doing. Sometimes they are not good at it, but will become good at it through the help of God. Either way God will enhance the ability to do something, that way no man can get the glory.

The penalty of pride can be costly when it comes to God. If we let pride take over it can cost us to be distant from God, but if we give that pride to the Lord we will have a relationship with the Lord. We need to lay pride down at Jesus's feet so that we can be blessed and healed.

Waiting on the Lord can be difficult. There are some things that we should be doing while we are waiting on the Lord for answers, direction or what to do that can be life changing. We must seek the Lord daily. We also have to turn to the Lord and also yield to the Lord for answers and direction.
