On this day July 5, 2026 we celebrate 250 years of our countries independence! As great a victory as that is, it doesn't hold a candle to the victory of the cross! And we're living it.

We may not feel like a slave to anyone, however when we commit sin we become a slave to sin. We need to take rule over sin. Through the Spirit, being led by and renewed in the Spirit daily, we car experience liberty.

People have been to called to serve God in some sort of way. One of the ways it to fill a need. That is a ministry in itself. May not be a pulpit ministry, but the church can use someone who is willing to clean the church, or pull weeds, or fill water jugs. The point is the Church has physical needs, emotional needs, and spiritual needs, and God is looking for someone to fill the need.

God has called each of us to go deeper... In His word, in prayer, in His covering, and into the community. The Acts 19 church used the power of His name to reach new souls and reach deeper.

Happy Father's Day. Is this day a good day for you or is it a rough day for you? Is your dad still around or did he pass away? Do you have a good relationship with your father or did you part ways with him? Whatever the case is, there is a Father that will remain faithful, who will not fail you. That father is God. If you do or don't have a father, God wants to be your father. He wants you to come to Him in the good, the bad, and the ugly.

We need to be Faithful to God in prayer, bible reading, tithe and offering and church attendance. we also need to be laborers for the Lord and taking care of others needs and have a burden for the things of the kingdom.

What we are anchored in matters, not only to us. It matters to our church, our families. Gods plan for us never ends. To repent is to turn and go the other direction. To stay in the will of God means to always be going against the grain. The reward is worth it.

We need to be knowledgable and aware of the Pharisee mentality, and even more careful not the adopt it into our own lives. Be aware of false teaching, half truths are still false.

David wasn't called an Apostolic, but when he brought the ark to the city of Jerusalem the way God wanted, he stopped and sacrificed and danced unto God with all his might. He didn't care who was watching. Even his wife made fun of him. When it comes praising God, we should not care who is watching or what they are going to say. God Deserves Our Praise without reservation.

We need to dhow love to God and to others and our fellow brothers and sisters. Love trumps everything.
