Through the rest of Luke chapter 2 we see two occasions when Jesus is in Jerusalem during His childhood, and through the examples of His earthly parents, Simeon, Anna and Jesus Himself, we learn what 'Lived-our Faith' looks like. In these examples we are shown:

Jack brings a message to us from the beginning of Elijah's ministry in 1 Kings 16-17, which compels us to properly recognise the Word of the Lord. In the contrasting examples of Ahab and Elijah, we see the judgement that comes through rejection of God's Word (Ahab and Israel), and the grace that comes through obedience (Elijah).
