We continue our series through portion of Mark's Gospel, we turn to Mark 2:1-12 and see how Jesus has Authority to Forgive Sins...and this is GOOD NEWS!!

Because He has authority to forgive sins, Jesus meets our greatest need, provides our perfect substitute and deserves our utmost praise!

In response to the Question “Why don’t your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders?” (Mark 7:5), Jesus SPEAKS TRUTH to the religious leaders of His day about what it truly means to follow God and how we can be truly made right with Him. In answering, He shows that it's not about religious observance, but rather it's about relational obedience.
