I don’t know about you, but writing out my goals gets me so excited! Not only is it a good idea to map out your most exciting year -what you really want- but it’s also a great idea to reflect on the past year and acknowledge what you’re most proud of.

The best thing you can do for your business is know where you’re at with the numbers. I coach stylists that I work with to compare month by month from the previous year to the current year AND break it down service by service. I also recommend to do this quarterly and annually to project profits and set goals that are attainable. This strategy not only gives you clarity on where you’re creating the income, but also empowers you to strategically market what you’d like to create more income on and, potentially, eliminate services that don’t light you up anymore. I just know you’re going to find so much value in this information!

Did you know that’s it’s 5 times easier to sell to someone who’s already buying from you? It’s true!While I think it’s a good idea to post online to attract new clients, we also need to strategize how to attract more income with the clients that are already booked with us. That’s why it’s imperative to upsell your amazing services and products to clients who are in your chair (aka buying from you already)! Plus, it’s beneficial for them as well!I have a simple technique that I’ve been using in my own business and have taught it to hundreds of other Hairstylists over the last several years. It’s called the 90/90 Rule. 90% of your clients should be buying or getting 90% of your products and services.
