Welcome back Girl Please Crew, In this episode your virtual homegirls are discussing the term "Strong Black Woman" and how society views us as black women. We are often seen as being leaders, activist, and fighters within our community but those same actions aren't given in return. We are always viewed as the women who can endure anything and always stay strong, but there are times we want to be soft and ask for help as well. Amazon's hit show "Harlem" was the connecting factor of this episode, in Episode 7 we saw Ty rushed to the hospital for some health concerns. With her friends at her bedside she informed them that she blew off the pain she was feeling due to a fear of being viewed as weak and dependent.
