This week’s interview is sure to leave you feeling empowered to stand in the authenticity of who you really and truly are. If you have been struggling to stand in your truth and to own the story that is uniquely yours then this interview is exactly what you need to listen to!
I have the honor of talking with Kristie Dean this week. Kristie is a wife, mother of 3, a professional photographer, certified holistic health coach AND founder of The Soul Project. Kristie believes wholeheartedly that she was placed on this earth to use her own gifts and passions for storytelling, connection imagery, and community building to support the emotional wellness and growth of all women! Whether by creating soulful imagery to support female-led brands in her business or providing a platform for women to share their stories on her ongoing documentary, The Soul Project, Kristie is all about helping women to find power and connection through being vulnerable.
I invite you to listen in as we chat all about The Soul Project but also about what it has personally taken for Kristie to get to where she is today. We also talk about the whole idea of vulnerability and how empowering it can be to look at it as something to embrace rather than something to shy away from.
I also encourage you all to read more about Kristie’s Soul Project at www.thesoulproject.co. There you can check out soul stories, upcoming soulful U events, seasonal Soulful Service projects and even sign up to be featured as a soul story ambassador! You can also find Kristie on Facebook and Instagram under @thesoulprojectsstories.
This week on the Girls 4 Greatness podcast I have the honor of interviewing Dr. Deitra Hickey. Dr. Hickey has 17 years of experience working in the Toledo Public School System. She was not only a teacher and a counselor but also a principal and a professor at the University of Toledo. Dr. Hickey has since embraced a different path as an author of three books, a well known motivational speaker, as well as a business owner of Serenity Health and Wellness Center.
I invite you to listen in as we talk all about what it has taken for Dr. Hickey to get to where she is today. We dive deep into the extreme difficulty and hardship she faced as a child and how she has taken that adversity and used it to empower others.
Dr. Hickey shares her passion for inspiring others to honor their overall health, to find the leader within themselves and to just live a life filled with more peace and contentment. Dr. Hickey is a shining example of someone who has embraced the difficulties she has gone through instead of choosing to live a life filled with bitterness and regret. Dr. Hickey reminds us all that there is no such thing as “normal” and that it is ok to acknowledge our journey and the sometimes difficult feelings that go along with that journey. She is an inspiration to embrace it all and to acknowledge that we all have our things to deal with and go through. We are all as she so perfectly states, “more alike than different.”
Please be sure to check out Dr. Hickey’s site, www.deitrahickey.com, for all the details on her speaking and counseling services, as well as info on the books she has written and her up and coming live event. You can also find Dr. Hickey over on LinkedIn under Dr. Deitra Hickey.
I am coming at you again with another solo cast this week. This time around I am sharing some of my favorite takeaways and insights from Lewis Howes Summit of Greatness.
I invite you to listen in as I get vulnerable in sharing some of my own struggles as of late. I also dive deep into how important it is to be in the moment, “living where your feet are,” as well as the whole idea of believing you are enough just as you are right now.
If you are finding yourself in a space where you feel stuck and a little down in the dumps, then this will for sure inspire and empower you to raise your belief in who you are and your belief in your own unique, beautiful greatness!
Also, if you are interested in checking out the amazing event I attended, the Summit of Greatness, then please head to https://www.summitofgreatness.com to learn more!!!
Santoria Sawyer has overcome odds that many of us can only fathom. I invite you to listen in as I dive into the topic of guilt and how it is often something we ourselves allow to take root. I talk about how I have personally struggled with guilt in my own life and how I have decided to instead embrace what builds my self-worth. It is my hope that these solo casts will give you more insight into who I really and truly am and also serve to inspire you to be more of who you really and truly are! I want these episodes to empower you to unapologetically live life on your own terms and realize that perfection is not a requirement for sharing your own greatness with the world.
