In this podcast episode, I am discussing raising funds for an Accessible Vehicle. Even as little as $5 dollars would really make a difference in donating towards my goal. Accessible vehicles are totally expensive, which is ridiculous for the disability community. We want to live independently and live our best lives and go out with family and friends.
Did you know that most disabled Americans have faced - the outright overpriced mobility van market? The issue is that people face very few funding resources in the USA to cover conversions. New mobility vans can cost over $70,000. Imagine not leaving your home because you cannot afford transportation. This is the reality for many disabled Americans.
My goal is to purchase this vehicle before my 35th birthday, which is September 5th! If you would like to donate toward my gofundme, you can do that here at https://www.gofundme.com/f/handicap-accessible-vehcile?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=p_cp%20share-sheet&fbclid=IwAR3oKdfS5AW7JbFQZgdeqI9Jb45RiUIphmUMNXBu2toUyt9b54GGEBpd284
