Canadian thrash metal band Tymo released their third full length album, The Art of a Maniac on February 5th, 2022.  Their vocalist, Tim Tymo appears on episode 036 of Giro Nation Metal as we continue the countdown to Loud as Hell starting July 29th in Drumheller, AB. 

Most of Hyperia joins Jeff for Episode 035 of Giro Nation Metal, inadvertently kicking off the Countdown to Loud as Hell mini-series.  Hyperia is a Canadian thrash metal band from Calgary, AB who has just made their move to Vancouver, BC.  Hyperia just released their sophomore album, Silhouettes of Horror on March 18, 2022.  

Marcos & Fernando of Brazil’s Drowned explain a little bit of the band’s history, Brazil’s metal scene, & chat about their latest album, Recipe of Hate.  The guys explore some other topics such as religion in Brazil, politics, touring, & a terrible car accident.  

Alex is a man of many talents, and it starts with being the vocalist for Canadian groups Fracturus and Neuraxis.  The guys talk L’appel du Vide, Quebec metal, touring, and wrestling.  Performance, passion, discipline, determination, and a shout out to Obvurt. 

Scott and Jeff talk about working on two albums simultaneously – Escaping Eternity & Leiden, which were released within a month each other earlier this year.  The guys talk about the Artisan Era, playing with both bands, and dive further into the sound of Devils.     

Gonzalo is a surprise guest, joining Gustavo and Jeff as they explore Sol de Sangre, Colombian metal, band beers, and living abroad. The guys show the Colombian metal scene some love.

Sentient Horror is releasing Rites of Gore on April 22, just 3 days after the release of this episode.  Join Matt and Jeff as they talk about Rites of Gore and its inspirations and working with Juanjo Castellano and Joe Stump.  Lyrical content, story telling, and Matt’s personal tastes are all explored in spite of a connectivity issue.
