  • It's been a whiiiiile - GitGud.CG Podcast - Season 2 Episode 3

Hey pod gang! Sorry for the radio silence, we recorded this episode at the beginning of the year and then... stuff started happening 😉and I (Kris - Podmaster and "El Hefe Supremo") have been flat out for a month. I can't share anything yet, all I can say is that a lot of what we talked about as far as plans in this episode, have been turned on their head.

We also touch on acti-blizz and the Microsoft acquisition, the steam deck and more!

  • Year in Review...ish - GitGud.CG Podcast - Season 2 Episode 2

Well howdy folks! Here we are again! Like I’ve said up top, this episode was recorded in December 2021 but there is some really interesting discussion considering where we have been in our CG art journeys this year. Listen along as we dissect, where we have come from in six months and where we are going in 2022. Try not to get too noggy!

The GitGud.CG podcast is a podcast project where two CG Art bros Kris and Jayden (Jsto – make it happen…) audio journal their personal trials and tribulations while learning CG art. We make the mistakes so that you don’t have to! Listen in to find out how not to approach a career in the high flying world of creative CG and Game Development art...Who knows? One day we might get it right!

We upload loosely every fortnight, thats two weeks for the freedom units amongst you, and we can be reach by our discord, email or by leaving a comment on the audio podcast or Youtube pages respectively.

Well, dang! Here we are. As far as past Kris is concerned, this is the last of the backlog episodes.

We intellectuals of the Audio Only Feed will probably still be behind from this point for a few weeks as we continue to define our new recording schedule but still exciting...right?
In the mean time slip on in sideways and say hi on our Discord Server. Tell them past Kris sent you. :)

  • Driving The CG Struggle Bus | GitGud.CG Podcast | Ep.14

So I (Kris) have militantly taken control of the audio feed from Jayden and all of his base are now belong to us.

So there are gunna be some changes round these here parts. *Slaps suspenders*

Firstly, on the up to date channels we've just started Season 2 not with a bang but with a whimper. We'll catch up here faster than anticipated I think, haha.

I am personally interested in doing some more cool stuff in this space, even if we can't find a good time to record over the break.

In that regard I've opened up the Discord for anyone to drop in and say hi.

I'm moving this week and and doing the family thing so it might all be a bit sporadic but If I can get enough interested people in the Discord, I might run some collaborative learning sessions.

So even though the discord is going to be a bit of a ghost town to start with, I encourage you to join in because I'm shifting my focus there and we all have to start somewhere right?

  • What is your CG Art Process? | Season 1 - Episode 13

Apologies to all of our podcast listeners. We didn't realise that both the Spotify and Apple Podcasts versions of the podcast had stopped updating in the feed.

I'm endeavouring to fix that now and I'm going to try and keep it up to date with the Youtube version going forward.

I'm going to set the backlog to trickle out over the break so as not to flood your feed as we try to get season 2 on the move.

Thankyou for your support and understanding.
