Today’s Promise: Matthew 10:42

The Kingdom of God often works the opposite of the world and our thinking.

Jesus has just finished dropping a list of things His followers should do. All are contrary to the way we would normally act.

Jesus commands His followers to be generous givers. We are to be conduits of His blessings. When God blesses us, we pass those blessings along to others.

When you give to a friend in need, God notices. Jesus said that even a cup of water given in His name would not be overlooked. God blesses those who bless others.
