Welcome back to Give Me A Minute!

This week is is a classic gmam episode, chaotic and immediately off the rails…

Jess casually introduces Leo Vardakar to the pod before we spiral into body hair discourse on the Luas (cunty, obviously), not shaving for months vs shaving every week?

We jump from Turkmenistan and its infamous leader to Whittier, Alaska where everyone lives in one building and uses tunnels to get around! We’ve Jess’s sister Tia off camera as our live Googler and fact checker- marking this first time we’ve had another human on the pod!

There’s also money chat, Dyson airwraps, €500 for new clothes, blowing through Do Not Disturb, having Google maps on for every journey and a dark funny moment involving stress, money and a seizure (everyone is ok!)

This week is equal parts apology tour, comeback arc and accidental political spiral. We’re owning up to not taking the pod seriously enough (sorry besties), but we’re BACK with a new plan, a hired producer, locked-in weekly episodes and a strategy to make sure we actually keep showing up.

Naturally, once the admin chat is out of the way, we descend straight into our latest hyperfixations, Robyn is deep in a YouTube rabbit hole about the Concorde plane and China (yes, really) while Jess is spiralling over US influencers, insane wealth, massive mortgages and overconsumption.

Somehow, it all turns into a heavier, more political conversation than usual, with Robyn talking about human rights for everyone, and the current state of the world - especially in America. It’s still very much us, still very much the craic, but with a bit more weight behind it.

Happy Christmas!!

This week were all over the place with blind items, Taylor Swift, Lily Allen the icon she is! We're strong belivers in that bears and hedgehogs have the right idea when it comes to hibernation!

We spiral about the winter blues and feeling ugly, whens the soonest the summer festivals are back and having no times to ourselves with being so busy!
