is used to mean "approximately" or "more or less." It’s a way to show that the number or amount you’re talking about is not exact, but it’s close enough.
Examples:
1- Tom Cruise has been acting for 40 years, give or take a year or two—he’s been in the spotlight for decades!
2- Cristiano Ronaldo runs about 10 kilometers per match, give or take depending on how intense the game is.
