In a change to the planned episode, we have decided to go for a semi-live episode recorded Sunday 27th September 2020 and discuss the responses to UK going back into stricter measures for Covid-19, which for many will feel like entering into another 6 months of lockdown.
This episode looks at the subject of resilience. What does it mean? How can we improve resilience and what tips are out there to help people cope with further uncertainty?

This week has seen parts of the UK go back into increased measures for Covid-19. This includes many of us having to spend much more time at home again.
With the increased chance of those who are employed having to work at home even longer than they anticipated, we thought we would discuss how we have adapted to working from home so far and debate some of the tips for making working form home more productive.

On 22nd May 2017, an Islamist extremist suicide bomber detonated a homemade bomb as people were leaving the Manchester Arena following a concert by Ariana Grande.
Twenty-three people died, including the attacker, and more than 800 were wounded - some of them children. Several hundred more suffered psychological trauma.
In March 2020, the bomber’s brother, Hashem Abedi, was found guilty of 22 counts of murder in relation to the attack.
The incident was the deadliest terrorist attack and the first suicide bombing in the United Kingdom since the 7 July 2005 London bombings.
One of the victims, Martyn Hett, died at the age of 29. Martyn had worked in public relations and he was also a former winner of TV Show Come Dine With Me.
In this episode, we are joined by Martyn’s mum Figen Murray, who has spearheaded the campaign for Martyn’s law – named after her son, which was set to be introduced in an effort to tighten security at public venues.
On September 7th 2020, a public enquiry started into the circumstances of the Manchester Arena Bombing, the background to the attack and the emergency response. We caught up with Figen - Socially distanced over Zoom
What Figen has had to endure, overcome and how she has moved her own life forward after losing Martyn truly is inspirational.

With this episode, we're back on the theme of self improvement , self empowerment and focusing on yourself. We'll be taking a look at a self development tool which is the series of Best Self Discovery Decks.
The Discovery Decks are prompt cards that inspire connection, confidence and creativity. There are nine themes to choose from. Each of the nine decks contain 150 prompt cards which contain questions or prompts for you to answer, think about and reflect upon.
Some of the packs are more challenging than others and we thought we'd live dangerously and draw some of the cards live during the episode and ask each other the questions! It was fun to do and prompted some rather interesting conversations!

A personal development plan can be a useful tool either at work or at home. It can be the difference between success and failure, so we wanted to focus our attention in this episode to our own personal development journey and explore what it looks like to plan your own development or self improvement plan
In the episode, we discuss the preparation steps of developing a personal development plan. We go through the steps we think will help anyone starting out on a journey to self empowerment or self improvement.
These first 8 steps are based upon our own experiences and we reflect upon what we have done in our own lives in order to achieve them at home or at work.

In this episode of the podcast, we take a closer look at how Coronavirus has impacted our lives. Over 45 minutes, we reflect on where we have been forced to change our working and lifestyle habits.
Panic buying or working from home – the list of all the things we can learn from coronavirus is endless. However, we break these down into our top 10. Along with the craziness of shopping, working and wearing a face mask, we focus upon the good elements of life we have witnessed over the last few months.
During the show, we will also pick up on the experiences and inspirational work of others during Covid-19. Neil Hailwood has been entertaining communities through Facebook live sessions of “Play your cards right” in aid of local charities such as Derian House. We will chat with him about this during our show.
We have collectively been experiencing Coronavirus for many months now. This episode aims to highlight just a few of the things we have found while living under the same roof for so long.
