This is a recording of the Global Art Café's monthly ART Together, an extended time where we come together to create art, work on creative projects and share about art and life.
On this episode, we have special guest, certified Relationship Coach and author of "Bride Doll," Elizabeth Nancy Jansen with us in the Café. Since retirement from health care or as she prefers to refer to her self employment as a "re-wirement." Elizabeth will share how Intuitive Painting was part of her healing journey. It is a beautiful story of how from great pain, comes beauty and love.
Elizabeth Nancy Jansen's fiction novel "Bride Doll" publishing in May 2021 makes it evident she is an expert in knowing what it takes to find and nurture true love. Through her speaking, coaching, and workshops, she helps people establish the clarity and focus they need to find their love partner.
Host, Lisa M. Kindle is an Artist and Certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach. Work one on one with her to connect with your life path and purpose through art.
We are talking about "Podcasting with Purpose" with change-maker, Jennifer Dragonette-Jacobsen of the Perfectly Imperfect Entrepreneur. This is our monthly BIZ Mastermind meeting where we talk about business and creative solutions while challenging team members to reach new goals and try new things to prosper and succeed.
We discuss why podcasting is a great way to build business, find clients and beef up the bottom line - all from a place of serving from the heart, not icky selling speak focused on making the sale.
Jenn offers up lots of valuable insights into podcasting. She also shares bits of her journey to find her life path as the self-proclaimed "queen of pivots." Her Tsunami of messy action has turned into big profits and a business that she has fun doing.
Here are some "sound bites" of our conversation and why podcasting really is a smart way to leverage your audience.
• Be part of the new elite as a podcaster
• Podcasting offers an alternative to the regular social media channels
• Be in control of your content
• Unlimited potential
• Build self-confidence
• Be the expert
• Collaboration is key
• Podcasting is the core community to client conversion
• Share from your heart
• No laptops on vacation
• Work smarter, not harder
In this episode we talk about the purpose of the Global Art Café. I made the announcement that I will be removing the fee-based membership to the Café moving forward and start to offer the VIP experience in a different way in the future. The Global Art Café programs are free and open to the public. Donations are always welcome to support the work that I am doing!
We also discussed that today the Maple Grove Art Center in Maple Grove, MN officially opened for the first time since the lock down began and discussed the upcoming events including an Advocate show happening in June. Now is the time to get signed up as an advocate and submit your art for that first show! There are many opportunities to participate as an artist, whether it's as a volunteer or paid. Deadline to enter the advocates show is June 1. Please visit their website to download your application!
The Maple Grove Art Center also has a Business of Art program where one of our guests and Global Art Café members, Sybil Swanson has participated in and currently sells her works. We talked about where you can find Sybil's paintings around town. Right now they are hanging and available for viewing and purchase at 2 locations: West Side Perk in West Bloomington, MN and at the Dunn Brothers on Main Street in Maple Grove. The show at West Perk was set up through this group, the VIP Biz Mastermind as part of my mission to connect members and help one another grow both as women and as artists, or in business as it fits their lives.
Come visit us next at the upcoming VIP EVENT: ART TOGETHER, MAY 11, 2021 and visit with artist Sherstin Schwartz, Life of A Paintbrush - she does amazing polymer clay floral gardens, alien gardens and "portals" - she will be in the Global Art Café to give us a studio tour LIVE ON ZOOM. Tuesday May 11, 2021 at 2:30-4pm on Zoom. Find full details on my website ---> artsoulliving.com
The Global Art Café started in March of 2020 and by the end of the year grew from a handful of members to nearly 200 members on our private Facebook Group. We now have a PUBLIC Facebook group for you and a VIP Membership with special programs once a month for those members. All events are open to the public. We ask that you become a VIP member when you begin to attend on a regular basis or would simply like to support the work that is being done. The aim is to bring art and life together whether you own a business, you are an artist or simply enjoy art and creativity. As founder and host of this podcast, I thank you for being here and reading this description. My passion is to help others see the value and in art in our lives (any art form) and find ways to incorporate it into our daily life in a way that brings positive and lasting transformation.
For Mark, colour is a sign language of the Soul. He believes, if we take time to notice and learn its language, simple and profound change can take place. Every colour tells a story, any shade or tone can move us through time to past memory, evoke a certain smell, or even add sound and music, all at the speed of light.
Colour PsychoDynamics is a methodology Wentworth have developed over the past 20 years, is a process and a journey of self-exploration with colour as the guide. This can simply be finding the right colours for your home, the most advantageous colours for your logo and business, or diving deeper to explore your core essence.
Mark lives in the UK as well as working internationally in Europe, Middle East, Far East, and North and South America.
In 1998 Mark wrote his first book "Add a Little Colour to Your Life", over time it has been translated into French, Greek, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish, and soon to be published in German and Romanian too. Whilst only 60 pages it has been described as "a little book that goes a long way" A new book is under way...
As well as being a guest on numerous TV and Radio shows and interviewed by various magazines and newspapers throughout the world, Wentworth is also a brand ambassador for Valspar Paint UK, and a Visiting Practitioner for SixSenses Spas and Resorts.
A very special thank you to Mark for joining us and sharing his expertise with us. He will be back in 2021 talking about the colour of the year and how it influences and can positively enhance your life! Stay tuned.
