The countries of Africa and the Middle East. Tropical cyclones “Fakir”, “Sagar”, and “Mekunu”, severe rains, floods, and landslides are the sad reality of this spring for people who live in the countries of Africa and the Middle East.

Russia. In the summer of 2012, the most destructive flood took place in the city of Krymsk in Kuban region. Eyewitness’ story.

Germany. Plentiful rains, minor flooding, hurricanes, and tornadoes in the North Rhine-Westphalia region. May 2018

Belarus. Tornadoes (twisters) in Belarus. The twisters are a fairly recent phenomena for Belarus. Experts connect this with the climate change.

China. On June 7, a typhoon hit for the fourth time this year, reaching the province of Guangdong. The wind gusts reached Beaufort force 8 points. Many cities suffered from heavy rains, roads got flooded. The Guangzhou zoo as well as Baiyun airport were completely swept by torrential rains.

Guatemala. The participants of ALLATRA International Public Movement reached out to Faride Irene Coll Zaid - a volunteer psychologist who is at the camp for refugees and victims in Guatemala.

Greece. Powerful rains and flooding in Thessaloniki (Greece) and Ankara (Turkey).

Egypt. Interview with Dr. Khalid Zayed (Cairo). About extreme record temperaturs in Cairo - up to 50 C, which never existed in this region before. About the importance of uniting people of all cultures and nationalities into one tight-knit family. “We are all people, we are all brothers and sisters, and we need to unite according to our common origin - we are all PEOPLE” - said Dr. Zayed.

Indonesia. On May 11,  there occured a sudden eruption of one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia, Mount Merapi on Java Island. On May 21st, volcano Merapi erupted again, creating  ash rain.

Russia. The beginning of summer in Russia was very atypical. In the middle zone of the country there was a near-zero temperature, snowfalls were observed. And on May 30th, a violent storm swept through two dozens of regions of Russia at once.

Canada. At the same time, on the opposite side of the globe, in Canada, there was a powerful snowfall. In some areas, up to 36 cm of snow fell.

Mexico. At the same time, in Mexico, the air temperature exceeded the mark of +50 degrees Celsius. In the capital of the country, a hundred-year record of the highest temperature of the day was registered.

On the Big Island of Hawaii, emergency evacuation has been announced due to an eruption of the Kilauea volcano.

The Kilauea volcano is considered to be one of the most dangerous volcanoes on the planet. The stream of lava has reached the residential area of Leilani Estates. Mandatory evacuation has been announced in several other villages and towns of the region.

Our unplanned special release is dedicated to the disaster on the Hawaiian Islands. Today, the situation in Hawaii has sharply worsened. Near the erupting Kilauea volcano, on the night of May 5, a 6.9-magnitude earthquake occurred. It has become the strongest in the last 43 years.

-  A report from Great Britain, where abnormal for local climate and time of year weather conditions have been observed just like in many other regions of Earth. Starting on February 26, 2018, a cyclone by the name of “Beast from the East” has descended upon Great Britain. It brought massive snowfalls and severe cold.

About people who show many examples of good deeds, mutual assistance, and humaneness. Under conditions of sharp worsening of climate conditions, people exhibit compassion and regard for each other.

-  Abnormal cold and snowfalls in Italy. Snow and frost and polar cold haven’t spared even some areas of Sardinia. The snow fell in the south, in Naples, where there hasn’t been snow (2 days in a row) since 1985, the last 33 years.

A resident of Naples, Fortuna, has graciously agreed to tell us about a recent snowfall in Naples. This is a very rare phenomenon in this region.

-  Snow fell in Florida. As resident of Florida themselves say: “You can live here your whole life and never see snow”. But in the beginning of this year, snow fell here. This phenomenon was called “snow bomb”.

-  The most powerful in the last 100 years snowfall in Russia. Trees fell, in places, snow reached 2 meters. Regardless of the fact that snowbanks exceeded human height, people exhibited commendable examples of unity, helping each other in various situations.

-  People show an example of how social networks may be used for unifying efforts and helping each other in extreme situations. People began to unite and offer their help to those who became a victim of the elements. To feed, keep warm, or take home anyone who needed it, became possible thanks to efficient use of social networks. This is an example of how good deeds of one person are taken up and strengthened by others. How kindness and the need to help others awakens in people.

February 17, 2018 Wales. One of the most powerful earthquakes in the last 10 years in Great Britain and the most powerful in the last 100 years in Wales.

February 17, 2018 Oaxaca, Mexico: one more powerful earthquake occurred with a magnitude of 7.5 points.

One of the last powerful earthquakes in Peru took place on January 14th, 2018 and we got in touch with an eyewitness to this earthquake. We will also tell what seismic danger in Peru is connected to.

An eyewitness Vyacheslav from Australia, whose work is directly connected to elements of nature has told us that the cyclones’ force is gradually intensifying and changing its direction. It is especially clearly seen in the last 10 years.

Vyacheslav: “When in a severe storm, a ship is thrown just like a walnut-shell, it becomes understandable how pathetic in reality are all these technological attempts of the mankind to withstand the power of nature”.

Italy. A series of underground tremors continues. According to the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, a series of earthquakes was recorded in Italy on February 14, 2018. It is impossible to predict the consequences of this series of earthquakes.

The night of February 12, 2018 more than 300 earthquakes took place on the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores, which made the Office of Civil Protection issue a request to the population to stay alert.

Let us recall that on the 2nd of October, the Italian Meteorological Service, Centro Meteo Italiano, warned about the activity of the underwater volcano Marsili, which is located between Naples and Sicily.

These days, the release of vapour and red dust was recorded by eyewitnesses in the region of Etna volcano. Some eyewitnesses have confirmed that on the 12th of this month, Etna released several clouds of hot gas, emitting red ash into the air. After the warning which was given in December of 2017 about possible eruption of Stromboli and Etna, there is no doubt that the volcano may awaken in the nearest future. Obviously the cataclysms in Italy are growing in intensity
