Today, our guest Brian Gibbison shares about how to help missionaries flourish and remain on the mission field. He explains that this can be done by having a biblical basis for missions, understanding the church's identity and role in missions, understanding the three stages of sending, building a care team, and providing a supply line. Listen to today's episode to learn what these five steps mean and how you can put them into action!
Bio:
Brian has enjoyed opportunities to serve as a missions minister in a local church, a short-termer in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, a missions mobilizer for a sending agency, a long-term missionary in Kosova, a professional coach for workers, and now as director of a training organization that helps both churches and global workers to go prepared and stay effective. Brian and his wife, together with their 4 children, enjoy strong coffee, woodworking, the wild outdoors, and the unpredictable adventure of walking with Jesus in the Father’s love.
